Stopped by for a quick bite around noon. Got the lunch special — portion was solid for the price. Food came out fast, which I appreciated. Staff was polite, no complaints. Nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. Would grab it again if I'm in the area and short on time.

Sat outside and they brought us a blanket when it got chilly. Nice touch. Food was tasty, staff didn't mind us sharing dishes around the table. Just a comfortable spot for a relaxed dinner. Nothing fancy but it worked.

The risotto was genuinely the best I’ve had in a long time. The service stayed professional without hovering, which I really appreciated. We sat near the window, and the light made the whole place feel calm. Only small thing—the table felt a bit close to the next one. But honestly, the food made up for it. I’d come back just for that dish.

We popped in right before closing on a rainy evening. Got a vegetarian pinsa to go, and it was really good. The guy at the counter was friendly, didn't make us feel rushed at all. Price was fair for the portion. Nice little spot.

Came for the steak, ended up loving the wine list more than I expected. Meat was properly tender, cooked just right. Service stayed warm the whole evening without hovering. Nice spot if you're into reds—they’ve got a few interesting bottles that aren’t the usual picks. Maybe slightly pricey but fine for a treat.

The three-course lunch for CHF 49 hit the spot. Pasta was cooked right, veal was tender. Service fine, but I'm here for the food anyway.

The service and quality of food where very good. We enjoyed our vegan meal a lot. Nice options for vegans and we loved the Mezze that can be shared.

Staff's friendly and the place has a decent vibe. Buffet changes up, sometimes even burgers or ribs. Keeps it interesting for a regular like me.

The perch with risotto was really good, and the house white went well with it. Staff switched to German for us, which was a nice touch. Place got a bit loud later, but overall a solid dinner.

The house-made gin really stood out for me. I’m not usually one to notice drink pairings much, but these matched the dishes nicely. Service was friendly and let us take our time, which I appreciated. Only thing is the seating felt a bit close to the next table, but it didn’t ruin the evening.

The grilled perch was the standout — flaky, buttery, exactly what I wanted. Wine pairing was decent too. Had to wait at the bar to order, which was a bit annoying, but the fish made up for it. Would come back just for that dish.

Stopped by for something light, left very full. The homemade ravioli was the move — simple, fresh, tasted like real effort. No complaints.

The osso bucco was solid and the risotto had just the right creaminess. Portion size felt fair for the price, though the place gets pretty loud when it's packed.

Dined outside under the grapevines on a warm evening—pretty setting, for sure. The ribs were the standout, tender and smoky. Just wish they’d brought the bread out earlier, but the vibe made up for it. Nice spot if you’re in the area and want something relaxed. 🌿

Stopped for a quick aperitif and stayed way longer than planned. Their house drink was super refreshing, and they still brought snacks even late afternoon. Prices are what you'd expect for lakefront Ascona, but the friendly staff made it worth it.

Stopped by for lunch during a work trip. The lake view is genuinely impressive, no complaints there. Service was efficient, and the chef came out to talk through my food allergy—appreciated that. Had the catch of the day, well prepared, though portion was on the smaller side for the price. Fine for a business meal, but I wouldn't make it a regular spot.

Sushi was fresh, the Unagi nigiri really stood out. Volcano California roll was decent too. Solid spot if you're in Ascona and craving Japanese.

The pizza was solid—had it as takeaway once and dined in another time. Prices are fair for the area. Staff didn't mind the kids at all. Good spot for a casual bite.

The seating area near the window was pretty comfortable, not too cramped. I could actually sit there for a while without my back hurting. Portions were decent for the price, nothing crazy but fair. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Just a solid spot if you want a relaxed meal without any fuss.

Been coming here for a while now. The pool table and foosball keep it fun, and the outdoor area's a solid bonus when the weather's nice. Vibe's always relaxed, easy to just hang out and lose track of time. Not the fanciest place, but it's consistent, and that's why I keep coming back.

The view really is the star here. Risotto was tasty but the portion felt small for what we paid. Staff were friendly though, made the whole thing feel worth it.

Came back three times while we were here. Dough’s consistently good, portions generous. Fair prices for the area too. Solid casual pizza spot.

The lake view from the terrace is honestly the main reason to come here. I ordered the perch fillet and it was fresh, light, exactly what you want after a long walk. Service was quick too, no waiting around. Prices are what you'd expect for a tourist spot in Switzerland, so not cheap, but the setting makes up for it.

Lovely terrace right on the lake—that’s the main reason to come. Pizza was decent, nothing mind-blowing, but fine. Service friendly enough. Prices though, ouch. Typical Switzerland, I guess. I’d sit outside again just for the view, but maybe just for a drink next time.

Tried the tasting menu last week. Wild rice risotto and lamb were the best courses, no question. Service stayed sharp even when the place filled up. Lake view from the table helps, sure, but I'd come back for the food alone. Price sits on the higher side, though portion sizes justify it. Solid pick if you're in the area.

Lovely spot right by the lake, staff were really welcoming. Parking was easy to find too. But 23 francs for a Greek salad? That's steep, even for Switzerland. I get that you're paying for the view, but still. Food was decent, just not sure it matches the bill.

Pizza dough was light and airy, exactly how I like it. Staff kept checking on us, almost too much but friendly. Solid spot for a casual dinner. Nothing fancy, just good pizza. Maybe a bit pricey for what it is, but I'd come back.

Came here for a quick dinner and left stuffed. Portion was generous for the price, honestly didn’t expect that much food. The home-style dishes were simple but tasty, exactly what I needed after a long day. Service was fine, nothing fancy. Just wish they had a bit more seating, it got crowded fast.

This quaint little place was incredible. The burrata was the best I’ve ever tasted and the homemade focaccia was also amazing! The owner was very friendly, accommodating and oozed passion for what she does everyday. This was our favourite spot in Como and couldn’t recommend it enough!
