Came for the lunch buffet and the live stations were the highlight—grilled seafood was really good. Desserts had some nice Sri Lankan sweets too. Just wish the buffet line moved a bit faster.

Booked the private room for a group thing—spacious enough and Sumudu took good care of us. He helped with the wine pairing too, which made the meal flow nicely. Solid spot for a quiet catch-up.

Good spot for a quick bite. Sandwiches were solid and the coffee did the job. Sourdough's worth grabbing if they still have it. Parking's a pain but that's normal around here.

Small menu, which I usually like. Got the pork belly and it was cooked just right—crispy skin, tender inside. Place has that simple hip vibe, nothing fancy. Bill came out a bit higher than I expected, but honestly the quality's there. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The iced coffee here is seriously good, one of the best in Colombo. Pastries are fresh, though service can be a bit hit or miss.

The tiramisu here is the best I've had in Colombo—strong coffee taste, not too sweet. Worth grabbing if you're nearby.

Came for an early dinner and tried the mac and cheese with pita. Honestly pretty good, and the thambili on the side was a nice touch. Harith was super energetic, made the whole thing feel easy. Menu's got a few other things I'd try next time. Place gets a bit loud later though.

No. 15 of Must-Visit Restaurants in Colombo

The Iftar platter for two at Rs. 4500 was a solid deal. Got short eats, falooda, chicken kanji, and nasi goreng with hot butter cuttlefish. Everything came out quick, which I appreciated since I was on a lunch break. Food was tasty and filling. No complaints there. Maybe a bit more napkins would've been nice, but that's minor.

Nice spot for a casual dinner. The boat ride was chill and the buffet did the job. Upper deck views are good, just wish it was a bit brighter up there at night.

The lounge view is lovely, and the high tea hits the spot—12 items with savories, scones, and sweets. Live piano was a nice touch. Around $25, fair for what you get. Would've liked a better wine pairing option though.

The char siu here tasted pretty close to what I’m used to back home. The thick BBQ sauce was spot on. Portions were generous, and the owner was friendly without hovering. I liked that I could just sit and eat at my own pace. Only thing is the seating is a bit tight, but for a quick meal it’s fine.

Nice spot but the cake portion felt a bit small for the price. Coffee was good though. Open-air setup gets warm midday, so pick a shady table if you can.

The mango sticky rice was the standout — sweet, creamy, and not overly heavy. Place itself felt a bit upscale but still comfortable for a quick dinner.

The chicken biryani here is what I keep thinking about. Rice is fluffy, the meat falls off the bone, and that spicy kick at the end hits right. Portion is decent for the price. Rooftop view is nice too, but honestly I just come back for that biryani.

Been coming here off and on for a while now. The tea's consistent, which is honestly the main thing for me. Prices are fair too, not trying to rip you off. Place is a little hidden from the road, easy to drive past if you're not looking. But inside it's alright, comfortable enough to sit and finish your drink.

Been coming here for years. Roast chicken biryani with boiled egg and mint chutney still tastes the same as when I was a kid. Simple and authentic. That's enough for me.

Kings Steak Bar is definitely worth a visit! The combination of amazing food, excellent service, and a pleasant atmosphere makes it a standout choice for steak lovers.

The strawberry milkshake was thick, properly sweet, not that watery stuff you get elsewhere. Cake display looked fresh too, though I only grabbed the shake. Place gets packed midday, but whatever, I'm here for the dessert anyway.

The roast paan with spicy prawn curry was so good, rich and full of flavor. Cozy little spot too, perfect for hanging out with friends. Service was friendly, just a bit slow when it got busy. 😊

The strawberry watermelon slushie was really refreshing—not too sweet, just right for a hot day. Portion sizes felt generous for what we paid. Staff were friendly and kept things moving. I’d come back just for that drink again.

The savories and short eats were really tasty, and service was quick. Prices are a bit steep for what you get, but the quality is steady. Seating was comfortable enough for a quick bite.
