The outdoor bit is nice when the sun's out. Grabbed a coffee there last week, just watching the park. It's a good place to sit for a bit.

The kayaking was great, but the real star was the cafe's chocolate scone after. Still warm, flaky with big chocolate chunks. That alone made the trip worthwhile.

Love that they're so welcoming to dogs. The homemade treats were a really sweet touch. My pup was over the moon.

The staff were polite and attentive, which was nice. The outdoor terrace overlooking the garden centre is a pleasant spot.

Came here for a treat after a long walk. The milkshake was really creamy and the cake was so fresh. You could tell the ingredients were good quality. The staff were lovely too.

Great spot for a quick bite. Hot chocolate with cream and a marshmallow hit the spot, brownie was properly gooey. Got a treat for the dog too, which is a nice touch. Service was quick, in and out in no time.

The owners are so lovely and welcoming. The garlic sauce on the mixed grill was fresh and authentic.

The lamb shawarma was flavourful and the staff's beer suggestion was spot on. The dining area is cosy, good for a quick business lunch. Service was efficient.

Lovely light space, stays calm even when a crowd. The creamy chicken and mushroom dish was spot on - rich but not heavy, and the roasted veg still had a bit of bite. Just what I needed for a quiet lunch.

Came in on a rainy day. The cakes are fresh and the variety is decent, but the portion for the price felt a bit small.

The full English here is spot on. Everything came out piping hot, which is key. Sausages had good flavour, and the eggs were cooked just right. Tea served in a proper pot with a china cup was a nice touch. Solid breakfast.

Booked early, got the 10% discount. Garlic bread and pizza came out piping hot. Perfect for a quick bite. Service was friendly, didn't hover. Got in and out fast.

The mixed tandoori and garlic naan were spot on. Everything was so juicy and packed with flavour. A proper find in Barrow.

The margaritas are really nice with the food. They have a good choice of tequila and mezcal, which is great. The staff were friendly and the place felt comfortable to sit in for a while.

Fantastic food! One of our favourite cuisines, staff are always lovely and welcoming, would highly recommend James and Kirstin

Popped in for a late lunch. The shepherd's pie bites were a lovely surprise! Really appreciated how fresh the ingredients tasted, especially the peas and carrots in the filling. The meat was lean and well-seasoned. A nice, lighter take on a classic comfort dish.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. They had a bit of a laugh with us, which was nice. It made the whole evening feel relaxed.

Their gin selection is seriously impressive. Tried a few new ones I hadn't seen before. It does get a bit pricey on a Saturday night, but the midweek deals are solid.

The burger was cooked just right, and the fries were crisp. The owner suggested a local craft beer that paired surprisingly well with the richness of the patty. A solid spot for a casual bite.

Been coming here for years. It's my local. Drinks are fairly priced, place is always clean. The Wednesday history talks are a nice bonus if you're around.

The beer garden is lovely on a sunny day. Had a decent lager there, though I wish they had a few more craft options on tap. A solid spot for a casual pint outdoors.

Shiva, the assistant manager, is always on top of things. Quick updates on orders and promotions. 👍

A nice afternoon tea with friends. The scones were particularly good, and the service was attentive.

Afternoon tea was solid. Sandwiches were fresh, scones came out warm. Good selection overall. Service was efficient, no fuss. A bit pricey for what it is, but convenient location for a business catch-up.

Stumbled upon this place by chance. The atmosphere is so welcoming, and the food is incredibly fresh. Drinks were spot on too. Prices are reasonable for what you get. A solid find!

The sticky toffee pudding was the real star here, just like a proper homemade one. The pub garden is lovely on a sunny afternoon, though it does get packed. Had to wait a bit for a table outside.
