The butternut squash soup was a generous bowl, very hearty. The ice cream float was a nice touch, but for the total bill, I was hoping for a bit more. Portions felt a touch small for the price.

The curry was packed with flavour, really enjoyed it. The place itself has a nice, relaxed vibe - good lighting and comfy chairs. Would order from them again.

Proper fish and chips. The scampi was decent, and the chips weren't greasy. A solid pint of lager went nicely with it.

Popped in for a relaxed lunch. The grilled salmon salad was the highlight for me – the fish was so fresh and flaky, and the greens were crisp. It felt like a genuinely wholesome choice. Ended up staying for a berry compote, which was a lovely, light finish. Just a nice, easy-going meal.

Had our office Christmas do here. Rachel behind the bar is a star - her cocktails were spot on and she kept the mood up all night. The team just got it, really made it easy for a big group. Food arrived quickly too, which helped!

Been coming here for years, and their pizza is always spot on. It's the reason I keep coming back.

The steak pie was really tasty, and my friend enjoyed her gammon and eggs. Service was quick and friendly, which made for a relaxed lunch. Good value, too.

Tarantella's beef carpaccio was the highlight for me. The presentation was spot on, and the flavour really came through. The figs with Parma ham were a nice touch too. Found a new favourite spot in Cumbria.

Been coming here for years, and the desserts are always spot on. That chocolate torte last night? Perfectly balanced, not too sweet. Presentation is still lovely, but the portion felt a tiny bit smaller this time. Still, it's the one thing I keep coming back for.

Stumbled upon this spot and the mega breakfast was huge! Good ingredients for the price.

Lovely spot, service was on point. The king prawns in black bean sauce were spot on, really authentic. They suggested a crisp white wine that cut through the richness perfectly. Plates were definitely cleared!

Been coming here for years for a proper takeaway. The fish is reliably fresh with a crisp batter, but the mushy peas are the real star for me. They get the texture just right. Simple food, but they do it well.

Sunday roast was spot on, beef cooked perfectly, Yorkshire pudding just right. Staff were quick and polite, no waiting around. Good value for the area.

Been coming here for years. The Tiki Fire rum is the main reason - it's just consistently good. Not many spots do it, and they've kept it on the menu forever. That kind of reliability keeps me coming back.

As someone who avoids gluten, I was really pleased with the menu. The lemon meringue was lovely, and I appreciated knowing the soup was homemade. It's nice to find a place that caters to dietary needs.

Been coming here for years. The butter chicken is always spot on, and you get a good portion for the price.

Stopped by after the wildlife park. Convenient spot. The fish and chips were fresh, the batter was crisp. A bit pricey for what it is, but the place is clean and comfortable.

Coffee was on point. The custard tart... wow. Crust was perfect, not too sweet. Went back for a second slice. That's all.

Great spot for a proper pint. The real ales on tap are a highlight, and the prices are genuinely decent for what you get. Easy to reach by tram from Blackpool, which is a bonus.

Popped in for a quiet pint and ended up staying for dinner. The barman suggested a local ale that paired surprisingly well with the steak pie. Staff were spot on, really attentive without being overbearing. A proper pub feel, just what I was after.

The full English breakfast is the one to get. The bacon was crisp, the eggs just right, and the black pudding had a good depth to it. Portion was generous for the price. That's what I come for.

As someone with a few food sensitivities, I really appreciate how careful they are here. The staff took the time to go through the menu with me. My salad was fresh and crisp, which is exactly what I look for. A very reassuring spot for a simple, safe meal.
