Booked for a quiet Sunday dinner. The roast beef was well-done but still surprisingly tender, with a generous portion of veg. The rich gravy was perfect for a robust red wine. Solid value for the price.

A lovely spot that welcomes dogs indoors as well as out. They had water bowls and treats ready for our pup, which made the whole visit so much easier. Really appreciate a place that thinks of the small comforts.

Been grabbing lunch here a few times now. Food&#39;s solid, comes out quick which is key for me. Staff are friendly too. Found my regular spot.

The homemade cake here is the real deal. Had a slice of their carrot cake after a train journey, and it was spot on. Moist, not too sweet, with a proper cream cheese frosting. Exactly what you want with a coffee.

The view from the terrace is the main event here. You&#39;re just looking out at the bay and the old pier, hills all around. It&#39;s so peaceful, makes the food taste better somehow. A lovely spot to sit outside.

The beef and Guinness stew was really tasty, the meat just fell apart. Portion was generous for the price, I couldn&#39;t finish it all. Good, hearty food that doesn&#39;t break the bank.

Osian was a standout. He explained the specials clearly, checked in without being overbearing, and had a genuine smile. That kind of attentive, friendly service is so nice to encounter. It really made the evening.
