Came in on a quiet Tuesday evening, no queue which was grand. Got the lamb curry, spice level was spot on, proper flavour without burning the face off you. Owner was sound, chatted away for a bit without hovering. Place could do with a bit more footfall, honestly. Decent feed for the price, I'd say.

The soya hot chocolate was spot on, loads of foam and not too sweet. Fair price for the size too.

Been here maybe four times now, food's always solid. Got the fish and chips last visit, batter was proper crispy, not greasy at all. The seafood chowder's decent too, plenty of prawns in it. Service was a bit slow on Saturday but they were packed. Fair price for what you get, I'd say.

The staff were so lovely with our dog—brought water and a treat without us even asking. We had the fish platter to share and it was fresh enough. Nice relaxed spot, though seating is a bit snug.

The King Dino burger was genuinely fresh and juicy, way better than your standard takeaway. Chips are proper chunky home-cuts too. Garlic mayo on the side was a nice touch. Only thing is the seating's a bit cramped, not somewhere you'd want to linger too long. But for a quick bite, it does the job.

Been here a few times now. The lamb stew was proper — tender, not drowned in gravy. Menu's got a good bit of variety, and the prices won't break the bank. Service was quick enough, though it did get a bit busy around half one. Place was clean, no complaints there. Solid spot if you're in the area.

Free self-serve ice cream to finish — can't argue with that. Makes the whole meal feel like a bonus. Solid spot for a quick bite.
