Solid pint of their own stout and a decent pizza to go with it. Open kitchen's a nice touch too. Craft beer spot done right.

Came in on a quiet Tuesday evening, no queue which was grand. Got the lamb curry, spice level was spot on, proper flavour without burning the face off you. Owner was sound, chatted away for a bit without hovering. Place could do with a bit more footfall, honestly. Decent feed for the price, I'd say.

Came for the beer, stayed for the Monday quiz. Over 30 taps, decent selection. The place was busy enough but not mad. We booked a table beforehand, probably needed it. Food was fine, nothing fancy, but the pints were good. Quiz was a bit of craic too. Wouldn't mind going back.

The plant-based meat here genuinely surprised me — I got the vegan burger and it actually had some texture to it, not like the usual dry stuff. Good option if you want something quick and not too heavy. Prices are fair for what you get too.

Been here maybe four times now, food's always solid. Got the fish and chips last visit, batter was proper crispy, not greasy at all. The seafood chowder's decent too, plenty of prawns in it. Service was a bit slow on Saturday but they were packed. Fair price for what you get, I'd say.

Free self-serve ice cream to finish — can't argue with that. Makes the whole meal feel like a bonus. Solid spot for a quick bite.
