Came across this place by accident and ended up back every night of my stay. The live music is the real deal, not just background noise. Sat at the bar, chatted with the bartender, felt properly looked after. Only thing is it gets packed later on, so grab a seat early if you want to actually see the band.

We grabbed a takeaway from here last week and honestly the food held up really well by the time we got home. The place itself has a nice vibe though - warm lighting, comfortable seats, the kind of spot you could easily stay in for a while. Staff were sound too. Only thing is it was a bit quiet for a Friday, but that suited us fine.

The halloumi veggie burger was genuinely good, and the price felt fair for Galway. Place is tiny though, we squeezed in but it worked.

This restaurant offers a fantastic brunch experience with a diverse menu and delicious food. The staff is friendly and attentive, making it a great spot for a leisurely meal.

Came back here again last week—still solid. The garlic chili prawns with cherry tomatoes are the reason I keep returning. Chocolate mousse was good too. Service stayed quick even when it got busy.

Stopped by for dinner and grabbed the pasta—honestly it was the highlight. Place has a nice buzz, not too loud. Service was friendly, no complaints there. Just make sure you book first, it gets packed fast. Wouldn’t mind going back to try the rest of the menu.

Came for the beer selection and left happy. Staff let me try a few before I picked, which I always appreciate. The place has that proper beer hall feel, good for a match with mates. Pint prices are fair for the area, not the cheapest but you're paying for the atmosphere. Wouldn't mind going back if I'm in the neighbourhood.

24 courses is a lot but honestly every plate was spot on. The oyster ice cream sounds weird but actually works. Chef came out to explain a few dishes which was a nice touch. Bit pricey but you're paying for the experience.

Came for the oysters, wasn't disappointed. Fresh local ones, so good I had to order another half dozen. The white wine they suggested went well with them. Place was busy enough but service kept up fine. Prices are fair for what you get. I'd go back if I'm in the area again.

The seafood chowder was proper — thick, creamy, loads of fresh fish in it. Fish and chips came out quick too, decent size for the price. Solid shout if you're passing through Oranmore.

Gluten-free pizza that actually tastes good — the buffalina was spot on. Portion sizes are decent for the price. Would go back.

Duck and monkfish were the standouts. Decent spot, just tell them about any voucher before you sit down.

Stopped in for dinner last week. Place has a nice, relaxed vibe. Service was pretty good, let me sample the wine first which I appreciated. The crab tart was decent, lamb was the better of the two. Risotto was a touch overcooked but still had good flavour. Fine for a casual night out.

The butter chicken here is proper rich, and the Peshwari naan’s the real standout. Portions are big enough that I left stuffed, which doesn’t happen often for the price. Solid pick if you’re hungry and don’t want to feel ripped off.

Showed up with a group on a busy Saturday, no booking. Staff sorted us out anyway, moved tables around and got us seated quick. Food came out fast too, which I appreciated. Just a solid spot for a no-fuss bite. Mine was decent, nothing crazy, but the service saved the day.

Came for the trad session on Sunday and the food totally surprised me. The dish of the day was proper tasty, exactly what I needed. Place was packed but the wait felt fine, the music kept it easy. Wouldn’t mind going back just for that again.

Stopped by for lunch and grabbed a seat outside. Veggie pizza was decent, crust held up well. They sorted the gluten-free thing without any fuss which was handy. Staff were sound, looked after us properly. Nothing mad fancy but it did the job for a quick bite.

Lovely little spot for build-your-own pasta. Picked my shape and sauce, went with the pistachio pesto—proper tasty. Would've liked a glass of wine to go with it, but the place was packed out.

The early bird is a solid shout — soup, slow-cooked beef and a glass of wine for €20. Brown bread was the best part.

The cod was spot on, and that miso cabbage... honestly could've had another plate of just that. Waiter knew his stuff when we asked for suggestions. Lemon posset rounded it all off nicely. Place was a bit warm near the window, but didn't ruin it. Would go back for that cabbage alone.

Soup and salads were fresh, and that homemade scone really hit the spot. Gluten-free brownie’s decent too. Prices fair enough for the portion.

Lovely spot in Galway. Got a cocktail and it was properly made, not too sweet. Staff were sound even though it was mad busy. Prices fair for what you get.

The fish and chips here are pretty good, honestly. Properly cooked, not greasy, and the side salad is a nice touch. I've had it a few times now and it's been consistent each visit. Decent portion for the price too. Place was a bit busy when I went, but that's probably a good sign. Fine for a casual meal.

The goats cheese salad was really good, and the flat white hit the spot. €16 felt fair for what you got. I sat inside, which was grand, but the outdoor bit looked nice too. Service was friendly enough, no fuss. Wouldn't mind going back if I'm in the area again.

We ordered the black bean beef and salt and chilli wings again, they never let us down. Staff were sound about swapping things around when I asked. Seats were comfy enough too, which I always notice. Place was busy but we weren't rushed. Good spot for a relaxed feed.

Our family had a fantastic dinner at Renao with delicious, beautifully presented dishes. The service was exceptional, making us feel completely at ease. Highly recommended!

Popped in here on a whim and honestly, the asparagus dish was the standout. Never had it cooked quite like that before. Place was packed, which is always a good sign. Staff were sound, didn't feel rushed at all even with the crowd. Solid spot for tapas if you're in Galway and don't want to queue for ages somewhere else.

The crab claws and oysters were decent, and the scallops were cooked just right. They handled the gluten-free request without any fuss. Pretty good spot.

The vindaloo had a proper vinegar tang and real spice depth, not just heat. One of the better Indian meals I've had in Galway.

The toasted sandwich with chips and a pot of tea was exactly what I needed. Cheese was properly melted, bread had a good crunch. Chips were decent, not soggy. Tea came in a proper pot, strong enough. That's really all I care about when I'm hungry. Fine for a quick stop.
