The fish and chips were spot on. The batter was light and crisp, the chips were proper thick-cut and fluffy inside. The mushy peas had a good minty kick. That's what I come for.

Been back since they changed the layout, much better. Ordered at the table, service was quick. It was quiet for a Saturday night, which I liked. Food was decent.

The staff were lovely, and they had a nice selection of wines to choose from for our birthday. Made the evening.

The local pale ale was the standout. Crisp, hoppy, with a nice citrus finish. The food was solid, but honestly, that beer is the reason I'd think about coming back. They were packed but still got it to the table quick.

Popped in for the big breakfast. The eggs were spot on, and everything tasted fresh. Staff were really sound, and they didn’t mind our dog hanging about. Good spot.

The jerk salmon was cooked just right, and the portion was generous. I really appreciated how fresh the salmon tasted. The rice was a nice, simple side.

Amy was so on it with my nut allergy, double-checked everything with the kitchen. Really put my mind at ease. The Sunday roast was huge and tasty, no complaints there!

Stopped in for the veggie English breakfast. The space is really bright and airy, with big windows. Makes for a nice, relaxed spot to start the day. The breakfast itself was hearty and fresh.

The pirzola here are a real find. So tender and full of flavour, cooked just right. The staff are lovely too, always makes you feel welcome. A proper little gem.

The atmosphere in this restaurant is lovely, especially with the live music on Monday nights. The staff were incredibly attentive, making the dining experience even better.

Rita was so lovely, really took the time to explain everything to me as it was my first visit. The menu can be a bit overwhelming, so her patience made all the difference. We had a nice, relaxed meal because of it.

The small plates were pretty good and nicely presented. Decent value for the price.

Chef Fumi’s sushi class was a lovely way to spend an afternoon. She has such a quiet passion for the craft, and I learned a few simple tricks I can actually use at home. The whole thing felt very personal.

Been coming here for years. The food is always spot on, honestly the best Chinese takeaway in Cardiff for flavour. Just wish the portions were a bit bigger sometimes.

Birthday dinner last night. The staff were so thoughtful - they surprised us with a little dessert and even played some music. Really nice of them.

Milkshakes are made fresh to order, which is great for a quick treat. A bit pricey, but the selection is huge.

Usually have a long wait in between ordering drinks & food order being taken. Today drinks order taken straight away, then when drinks bought to table the waiter took our food order. Didn't take long for our food to arrive at tabke. Excellent service

Stumbled upon this place during a walk. The menu's got a lot to choose from, which was nice. Everything we had tasted properly homemade. The scones were particularly decent. It did get a bit busy later on, but a solid spot for a quiet coffee.

The coffee is pretty good here, and I like the choice of beans. It's a comfortable spot to work, with plenty of charging points. It can get a bit busy, but that's fine.

Kids menu has mini versions of the adult meals. Much better than the usual stuff. Babychinos are a winner.

The lamb rogan josh here is the real deal. The sauce is thick and rich, with a deep, slow-cooked flavour. The meat just falls apart. It's got a proper kick to it, too. One of the better curries I've had in a while.
