Stayed here overnight, rooms were spotless and really comfy. The staff were so helpful - they even helped us with our luggage which was a nice touch.

The service and food were excellent. The very one problem we had was our booking was not logged with the restaurant even though I had two confirmation emails from the Fork to say our booking was confirmed. Clearly it was not

We have eaten here many times. Always excellent apart from the overbooked corn on the cob. Last night the restaurant was very cold which the waitress explained about but did spoil our meal rather.

The staff are so friendly and made me feel really welcome. It’s nice to see a place where the team seems happy.

The food was brilliant, especially the signature burger which received a 10/10 from my table. The staff, particularly Allison, were attentive and made our visit memorable.

It was surprisingly quiet for a Saturday night but that just added to a more relaxed quiet evening staff were great very polite and friendly price of the meal very reasonable thanks Toby for a lovely evening

The mixed kebab for two is huge! Meat was really tender. Perfect for when you're starving.

Came for brunch, got the eggs Benedict and halloumi sticks. The halloumi portion was generous for the price, really filled me up. Eggs were good too. Sat outside, it was a bit chilly but they had blankets.

Popped in for a late lunch. The staff were so kind, even added a little birthday touch to the dessert plate, which was a nice surprise. The steak was cooked just right, and their house red was a solid, robust pairing for it. Portions are generous, you won't leave hungry.

The calzone is huge, easily enough for two. The dough was crispy outside, soft inside. The filling was generous, really packed in there. For the price, you get a very filling meal.

Service was really nice. Staff were friendly but not hovering, which I appreciate. Food came out hot and tasted good. Just a comfortable, straightforward place for a meal.

The confit duck leg was so tender, and the halloumi burger had a lovely texture. My favourite part was the raspberry panna cotta, it was just the right amount of sweetness to finish. A really pleasant meal.

Food's top notch. Ordered delivery during the lunch rush, took a bit longer than expected. Still, a solid quick bite when you're not in a massive hurry.

Had a lovely meal the salad cart as per usual was wonderful and makes a great starter. The staff were friendly and welcoming

Nice little spot for a quick lunch. The staff were friendly and got my order out fast. Had the chicken sandwich, simple but tasty. Good for a bite when you're in a hurry.

Came for the curry night. The portion size was huge for the price. My chicken curry came with rice and naan, and I still had leftovers to take home. Really solid value.

The steak and ale pie was so good! That crust was thick and flaky. Perfect for sharing with mates.

Mixed starter for two was huge, pakoras were the best bit. My Jalfrezi was seriously hot, maybe too hot for me. Got my food in about 10 minutes though, perfect for a quick lunch.

A lovely, quiet breakfast spot. The calm atmosphere was just what I needed. The staff member who helped us was polite and attentive, which made the morning feel easy.

Kids had a blast making their own pizzas here. They were so focused, and actually ate everything they made. A fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

The food was excellent and the table service was prompt, efficient and friendly. Other patrons seemed to be satisfied too. However, the welcome on arrival and seating were disappointing. I had to wait about 10 minutes to be greeted and shown to my table. There was no person receiving guests and I only received attention when I asked for it and this after having been ignored by 4 members of staff.

Been coming here for years. The meat is always from the local butcher, you can really taste the difference in the full breakfast.

The lamb chops were the star of the meal, cooked just right and so flavourful. The buttermilk buffalo burger starter was a nice surprise too. My only small note is that the chairs were a bit hard for a longer dinner.

The steak was the highlight for me. Ordered medium rare and it came out perfectly pink, with a really nice crust. Juicy and flavourful. The chef knows what they're doing.

Tried Nando's for a quick lunch. The full platter was fresh and full of flavour. Good for a speedy bite.

The food hygiene rating was a nice touch, spotted it by the counter. Felt at ease straight away. Staff were lovely, really attentive without being overbearing. My latte was perfect.

Cosy spot in Hemel's Old Town. Staff were really friendly and took time to talk us through the menu, which was nice. Had a relaxed dinner here, the atmosphere is quite intimate.

The portions are generous and the food is tasty. I also really appreciate how clean the toilets are kept.

The Sunday roast was the star. Beef was tender, the Yorkshire pudding had a good crisp, and the gravy was rich. Chocolate dessert was a bit too sweet for my taste, but the roast itself was spot on.

The staff were so polite and helpful when I needed to change my order last minute. They handled it without any fuss. It's rare to get that level of service without feeling like you're being a bother.
