I was unable to make my 3.30 reservation due to a family problem and the Manager kindly held my table for an hour. A big thankyou to all the staff at the Toby Inn Hemel Hempstead for an enjoyable afternoon and good food.

The food here is always spot on. Saw a couple of dishes go past to other tables and they looked so good, I'm already thinking about what to order next time. Flavours are just right, never a letdown.

Been here a few times with big groups. The service always keeps the drinks and cheese coming, which is perfect for a celebration.

Been coming here for years. The wine list is always solid, and they rotate some interesting bottles. That’s the main reason I keep coming back. The cozy vibe with all the plants is just a nice bonus.

Lovely spot, really nice vibe. The grilled meats were on point this time, definitely better than last visit. Just a bit pricey for what you get.

The coffee here is genuinely good. Full-bodied, smooth, and they serve it at the right temperature. Staff are always cheerful, which is a nice touch. Food's tasty too, but honestly, I keep coming back for that perfect cup.

Food was spot on, and the kids menu kept everyone happy. I was really impressed with the wine list - they had a nice selection of local reds that paired perfectly with my steak. The place is spotless, which is a big plus. We'll be back.

The pork and chive dumplings were so good, I ordered another plate. The cocktails? Spot on. Our server was lovely, really attentive without hovering. A nice, relaxed vibe.

Service was top-notch. Staff knew the menu inside out and suggested a wine that paired perfectly with my main. They were attentive without hovering. Made the evening feel a bit more special.

Been coming here for years, and the service is always spot on. Mandy, Bow, and Lala remember my usual order and never steer me wrong with suggestions. It's that kind of reliable, friendly vibe that keeps me coming back.

The staff were so kind. They noticed I had a few bags and offered to help carry them to my car. It's a small thing, but it made me feel genuinely looked after.

The food quality at Cecconi’s is consistently impressive. The beef tartare and truffle pizza were outstanding, and the attentive service made the experience even better.

This pub has a great atmosphere and an amazing menu selection. The staff are welcoming, and the beer selection is excellent.

The cauliflower miso dish was a real standout, really inventive. Limited veggie options though.

Came in for dinner. The haddock was the standout. Fresh, flaky, perfectly cooked. Everything else was good, but that fish was next level.

Nice relaxed spot for a casual dinner. Portions are generous, which I appreciate. Prices are fair for what you get. The food was solid, though my main arrived just a touch cooler than I'd like. Still, a good, straightforward meal.

The cheese and onion fries were the highlight. Got a sample portion just for asking. Crispy outside, soft inside, with a sharp cheese sauce and sweet caramelised onions. The portion sizes here are generous for the price, but those fries are the thing to get.

Popped in for a late lunch, just wanted something simple. The steak pie was proper hearty, the mash was smooth. Went down a treat with a pint of stout. Exactly what you want from a pub.

Nice spot for a family meal. Everything arrived hot and tasty, even with a big group. The pod was a bit snug but fine for us.

My local takeaway. The Singapore vegetables were spot on, and they have a decent house white that pairs nicely with the spice. Portions are huge.

Loved how fresh everything tasted. The ingredients were clearly top quality, and you could tell they were prepared with care. The presentation was lovely too. Just a really nice, wholesome meal.

Stumbled upon this spot and I keep coming back. It's got such a relaxed, welcoming vibe. The staff are always friendly and never make you feel rushed, which I really appreciate. They have a nice range of ales and some more unusual beers too.

Booked online for a mid-week dinner, super easy. Really appreciated how spacious it was. Plenty of room between tables, felt very comfortable and not cramped at all. A nice change from some of the smaller, busier spots.

Good to see gluten-free options on the menu. Tried the in-house brownie during a quick lunch stop. It hit the spot. Service was fast, got me in and out. A solid choice when you need a convenient bite.

The beer list changes all the time, which is fun. The staff really know their stuff—they asked a couple of questions and suggested a pale ale that was spot on. Made choosing easy.

Love how they blend Indian and Chinese flavours! The King Prawn Manchurian is a regular for me – juicy prawns in that slightly sweet, spicy sauce. Sometimes I just get a couple of starters like that and the sheekh kebab. Perfect for a lighter meal.
