Been coming here for years for a proper pint. Their real ales are always well-kept, never a flat one. The selection of draught lagers is solid too. It’s a reliable spot, just what you want from a local.

I had a lovely meal at the Green Man with friends. The vegetarian options were delightful, and the service was friendly and efficient.

Abby was great. Kept our big table's glasses full all night. Drinks were spot on, even better than the food.

The staff are quite friendly. Tim at breakfast was helpful, and Joey gave a warm welcome. A pleasant experience overall.

The ale and cider selection is really impressive, probably the best around here. The staff knew their stuff and gave me a solid recommendation for a local cider I hadn't tried before.

The steak was cooked just right, and the peppercorn sauce tasted so fresh. Really nice to see the place after the renovation.

The beer garden is massive, perfect for a sunny afternoon. Just a shame the service out there felt a bit slow. Still, a lovely spot to linger.

I’ve popped in a few times for drinks, but finally tried the food. The portion size for the burger and chips was huge—honestly, two of us could have shared one. It’s a solid local spot, though I’d still lean toward just grabbing a pint here.

Been a regular for ages. The real ales are spot on, always perfectly kept. Molly and Mollie are lovely, really make you feel welcome. That's what keeps me coming back.

Been coming here for years. Their burgers are always spot on, and the chips are honestly the best around. Just a solid, no-fuss meal every time.

This pub is a hidden gem! The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. Tyler went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience.

The cauliflower miso dish was a real standout, really inventive. Limited veggie options though.

Stumbled upon this spot and I keep coming back. It's got such a relaxed, welcoming vibe. The staff are always friendly and never make you feel rushed, which I really appreciate. They have a nice range of ales and some more unusual beers too.

Friendly service, they bring your drinks over which is nice. The bar itself is the real draw - a solid selection of spirits. Found a great rye whiskey that paired surprisingly well with the steak. A bit on the pricier side for the cocktails, but that's expected in this area.

Decent pub food at a fair price. The portions are generous and everything we tried was pretty good. It's solid, simple cooking.

Loved the outdoor tables. The sharing nibbles were spot on - peppered squid was tender, halloumi chips crispy. Just a really nice vibe for a sunny afternoon.

Lovely, bright space, perfect for a relaxed afternoon. The drinks list is impressive. Staff were genuinely friendly, which made all the difference. My only small note is that the service got a bit slow when it got busy. Still, a very pleasant spot.

The recent refurb is spot on, modern but still cozy. Had a lovely evening here. The wine list is well-curated, found a nice Rioja that went perfectly with the steak. Just a bit on the pricey side for the pour, but the atmosphere made up for it.

Staff were really nice. Bob, Emily, and Heather especially. Felt like they actually wanted you to have a good time, not just doing a job. Made the whole thing way more relaxed.

Popped in for lunch. The fish and chips were spot on - crispy batter, proper chips. Friendly staff too. A solid meal.

The mushroom risotto here is a real standout. So creamy and rich, with a deep earthy flavour from the mushrooms. Honestly, I could have just had a big bowl of that and been perfectly happy.

Been going here for years. Their own ales are solid, and the beer garden is a proper spot on a sunny day. My steak and ale pie was spot on, as usual. Good, honest pub grub.

A decent spot with a nice, family-run feel. They've got the traditional pub atmosphere down, but with a solid selection of craft beers. The welcome was warm. A bit on the pricey side for a pint, but a pretty good place overall.

Josh was brilliant at making us feel safe when things got a bit tense. Really appreciated how he handled it.

Love the vibe in here! The old wooden beams make it feel cosy and historic. Perfect spot to catch up with friends over a Shipyard beer. Will definitely be back to try the food next time.

A decent spot for a pint. The steak sandwich from the lunch menu was pretty good – the bread was nice and fluffy. Ingredients seemed fine quality. It’s a solid choice for a casual bite.
