The steak was cooked just right, and the peppercorn sauce tasted so fresh. Really nice to see the place after the renovation.

Lots of good veggie choices here, which is nice. I tried the mushroom risotto and it was actually really creamy.

Popped in for a late lunch. The bacon roll was tasty, but what really stood out was the freshness of the ingredients. The salad leaves were crisp and the tomato was perfectly ripe. It felt like a proper, wholesome meal.

The coffee here is excellent, and they have a decent selection of local roasts. I just wish the seating was a bit more generous. It gets quite tight when it's busy, which makes lingering over a second cup less appealing.

Omelet with ham and mushrooms was spot on. Coffee was good too.

I’ve popped in a few times for drinks, but finally tried the food. The portion size for the burger and chips was huge—honestly, two of us could have shared one. It’s a solid local spot, though I’d still lean toward just grabbing a pint here.

Atiq was really helpful when we ordered. The ordering room itself is nicely decorated.

Loved how spacious it is here. Felt really comfortable just settling in with my laptop for a few hours. The free Wi-Fi was a nice touch. Perfect for when you need to get out of the house but still be productive.

The chicken was cooked perfectly, and the garlic bread had a nice crisp. Delivery arrived right on time.

Great spot for a catch-up with friends! The pastel de nata and decaf latte were a perfect little treat. It was quite busy though, so maybe not for a quiet chat.

This pub is a hidden gem! The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. Tyler went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience.

Lovely spot for a light lunch. I appreciate how fresh the ingredients are in their salads - the greens were crisp and the avocado perfectly ripe. It felt like a healthy, nourishing choice. The atmosphere is very relaxing too.

Popped into Charlie's with a friend while in St Albans. The coffee is genuinely the best around here. The staff are all so lovely and chatty, which made it a perfect spot to catch up. Will definitely be my go-to for a coffee meet-up now.

Popped in for a solo breakfast and went for the avocado toast. It was spot on—really fresh, thick-cut sourdough and a generous sprinkle of seeds on top. The menu is huge though, almost too many options. Spent a good five minutes just deciding!

I was unable to make my 3.30 reservation due to a family problem and the Manager kindly held my table for an hour. A big thankyou to all the staff at the Toby Inn Hemel Hempstead for an enjoyable afternoon and good food.

The sausage roll here is the reason I keep coming back. The pastry is perfectly flaky and buttery, the sausage meat inside is really well-seasoned and moist. It's a proper homemade one, not like the dry, greasy ones you get elsewhere. Just a solid, classic version done right.

Been coming here for lunch for years. The menu's got a bit of everything, which is handy. Staff are always friendly and quick to notice if you need anything. A solid local spot.

Service was prompt and efficient even when busy. Tables cleared quickly. Staff attentive without being intrusive. Good for a business lunch when you need to be in and out.

Service was quick, and the place is spotless. Snack options are decent. But for the price, the portions could be a bit bigger. Felt a little light for what I paid.

Ordered a less sugar cake for my husband's birthday. He really enjoyed it, said it was tasty. The cake itself was lovely. For the price, I did expect it to be a bit bigger though.
