The vegetables here are cooked just right, not too soft. You can tell they're made fresh when you order. The whole meal felt really satisfying.

My usual spot for coffee. The barista remembered my order today, which was a nice touch. The flat white is always solid, just the right temperature.

This little cafe is always packed with locals. Had their breakfast special again - eggs were perfectly runny, bacon crisp. Coffee's strong, just how I like it. They get the basics right every time.

Been coming here for years, and the lamb chops are always spot on. Cooked just right, every single time. That kind of consistency keeps me coming back.

The halal pastries are the main draw here. The almond croissant I had was flaky and buttery, with a good amount of filling. The display case always looks fresh, which is a plus.

The food was fresh and the menu had plenty of options. What really stood out was the service—everyone was so friendly and attentive, which made the whole meal feel very relaxed. A nice, easy spot for a quiet dinner.

Popped in for a coffee and ended up staying a while. The almond croissant was really good – flaky and not too sweet. Nice, airy spot.

Great spot for a quick bite. Coffee's solid, food hits the spot. Love the vinyl selection playing in the background. Gets a bit loud when busy, but perfect for a fast lunch.

The pistachio cake is the star here. You can really taste the freshness of the nuts, and it's not overly sweet. A lovely, simple treat that feels like a good choice. I'll be back for that slice.

Popped in for a late lunch. The bacon roll was tasty, but what really stood out was the freshness of the ingredients. The salad leaves were crisp and the tomato was perfectly ripe. It felt like a proper, wholesome meal.

The coffee here is excellent, and they have a decent selection of local roasts. I just wish the seating was a bit more generous. It gets quite tight when it's busy, which makes lingering over a second cup less appealing.

Popped in for a late English breakfast. The bacon was nicely crisp, eggs runny just how I like them. Good portion of beans and mushrooms too. Pot of tea kept coming. Service was spot on, friendly without hovering. A solid, no-fuss fry-up.

Great spot for a catch-up with friends! The pastel de nata and decaf latte were a perfect little treat. It was quite busy though, so maybe not for a quiet chat.

Popped into Charlie's with a friend while in St Albans. The coffee is genuinely the best around here. The staff are all so lovely and chatty, which made it a perfect spot to catch up. Will definitely be my go-to for a coffee meet-up now.

Popped in for a solo breakfast and went for the avocado toast. It was spot on—really fresh, thick-cut sourdough and a generous sprinkle of seeds on top. The menu is huge though, almost too many options. Spent a good five minutes just deciding!

Good to see gluten-free options on the menu. Tried the in-house brownie during a quick lunch stop. It hit the spot. Service was fast, got me in and out. A solid choice when you need a convenient bite.

The solo waitress managed a full house with real composure. Never rushed us, kept orders moving. Tough spot, handled it well.

Sneha's the best. Always remembers our usual order, super friendly. Makes the whole place feel welcoming.

The building itself is lovely, and they've made great use of the space with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It's a nice spot to just sit for a while.

Been coming here for years. It's a proper little hideaway down the lane. Their milkshake is the real deal - thick, not too sweet. Always hits the spot. Prices are fair for what you get.

The full English was spot on. Hot, fresh, everything cooked just right. Honestly, for what you get, the price is a pleasant surprise. A proper start to the day.

Lovely little family-run cafe. The prawn baguette was the star for me - fresh, crusty bread and the filling was spot on. My latte was huge and kept me going all afternoon. A solid lunch spot.

The roast was spot on, really fresh and flavourful. But the atmosphere is what got me. The lighting and decor just felt so cosy and welcoming, like a proper Sunday should.

Had the sausage roll and Keralan pasty. Both were solid, well-made. The chai latte was good too. Service was efficient, got my order quickly. A reliable spot for a straightforward lunch.

Prices are surprisingly decent here, especially next to the big chain spots. Got the chicken katsu curry, and it was a proper portion for what I paid. Solid lunch.

The sundried tomato and cheese biscuits were the best part. They were so flaky and savoury. The rest of the cafe is fine, but those biscuits really stuck with me.

Nice spot for a coffee and a pastry. The seating is comfortable, which makes it a relaxing place to stop by.
