Had a wonderful time celebrating my brothers birthday at Saffron House, staff were excellent and the food was wonderful. Without a doubt the nicest indian food i’ve had in Watford to date. Would definitely recommend.

First time here, just tried the seabass curry. The fish was flaky and the sauce had a nice kick to it. Malabar chicken curry was good too, the meat fell apart. Might go back to try the lamb next.

The set menu had a nice variety, and everything came out so quickly. I really appreciated how fresh the ingredients tasted in each dish. The portion was generous too.

The Thai curry noodles were just right for a quick bite. That rich, warm flavour hit the spot perfectly after a long day of shopping. A very satisfying little bowl.

Been ordering from here for years. Staff are always friendly and the service is reliable, whether you call or get delivery.

Been coming here for years, and the thing I keep noticing is how comfortable it is. It's just a great spot to relax with a drink. Plenty of space, always feels clean and tidy. That's what keeps me coming back.

Been here a few times now, always nice in the evening. The menu is huge, which I love. Tried their new pasta special last night, really hit the spot.

Came for a team lunch and the space was just right. Not too loud, nice high ceilings. The warm brownie with chocolate ice cream was a proper treat.

Samosas are so fresh and full of flavor. A real treat, nothing like the ones you get at the supermarket.

Popped in for a late lunch, burger and chips were solid. Emma was efficient, service was prompt. Guinness poured well. Good spot for a quick bite if you're in the area.

Went there for my sister-in-law's 70th Birthday, food excellent and staff were friendly and polite and catered to our every need. She and I thoroughly enjoyed it and would definately go again.

The set menu was delicious and the service was just right. They were friendly without hovering, which made for a really comfortable meal.

The 'all you can eat' concept here is so fun for a group! You order course by course from a menu. We loved the mixed platter starter so much we got a second round before moving on. Perfect for a long, chatty dinner with friends.

Managed to snag a table without a reservation. The vibe is so chilled, perfect for a relaxed catch-up.

Grabbed takeaway here with a few mates. It was super busy but the line moved fast, which was perfect because we were starving! Food came out piping hot. Good spot for a quick catch-up when you don't want to wait around.

The set menu is a solid choice. You get a decent spread of dishes, and the portions are generous enough to leave you comfortably full.

Staff were really helpful with suggestions. My kid got a free treat, which was a nice touch.

Walked a good way to get here. The food was hot and full of flavour, really hit the spot. Chef Damian popped by our table, which was a nice touch. Good value for what you get.

The teppanyaki station was a nice touch, and I really appreciated how fresh the ingredients looked.

Portions are huge here, I always end up with leftovers. They box it up for you without any fuss, which is handy. My steak was a bit overdone for my liking though.

The Sunday roast was pretty good. The beef was very tender, and the selection of vegetables was decent. The gravy had a nice, rich flavour. It was a solid meal, though the portion felt a touch small for the price.

The fryup was solid. Eggs cooked just right, not greasy. The fried bread had a nice crunch to it, held up well. Everything was hot when it arrived. That's the main thing for a breakfast plate.

The chicken was the standout. Lightly spiced but packed with flavour, and it arrived properly hot. Staff were all smiles, which was nice. A solid meal.

The fish and chips are reliably good, and the curry sauce is a lovely addition. The booths are comfy, which makes for a relaxed meal.

Been coming here for years. Their chicken just tastes better than the other spots in town, always fresh off the grill.

The staff really know their stuff about allergies. Felt totally relaxed ordering, which is rare for me.

Been coming for years. Food's always fresh, and they remember you. Never disappoints.

The manager's always so polite and efficient. Even when they're packed, our food arrived super fast. Really makes a difference when you're just popping in for a quick bite.

The pancakes were fluffy and fresh, which I really appreciate. The historical setting is a nice touch too.
