The lamb shank was so tender it fell off the bone. Gravy had a deep, savoury flavour that paired perfectly with the mash. Could have done with a touch more seasoning, but still a solid dish.

The pizza was fresh, you could really taste the quality of the ingredients. The dough had a nice texture too. A good, simple option for a quick lunch.

The DJ was really nice about our song choices. It got the whole place moving. Perfect vibe for a birthday dance, honestly.

We had been to the windhover before but its got even betterwarm welcome has we entered the door we was seated straight away by the window as requested staff was very good & cheerful meals was exerlent nicely presented & hot sweet also just to say have no doubt about returning great value thank you for a great Anniversary dinner

Been coming here for years. The hand towel and chocolate mint at the end are a small thing, but they've always done it. That's what keeps me coming back.

Vegan options are solid here. Had the dairy-free cheese pizza and plant-based cheesecake. Both were decent, no complaints. Made it straightforward for a business lunch with a colleague who has dietary restrictions.

Been coming for years, and the food is always fresh and full of flavour.

Decent portions and tasty food. Service can be a bit slow when they're short-staffed, but it's okay if you're not in a hurry.

A proper old-school pub, and they let you bring your dog in. That’s a nice touch. The regulars seem friendly, and it just feels like a comfortable spot to settle in.

A really clean space, and plenty of seating. I mentioned needing help with my tray because of my walking aid, and the staff were so kind to bring everything over to our table for me.

The grilled chicken in the combo has a nice smoky flavor and stays tender. The rice is good, but the chili sauce really makes it.

Been coming here for years, and their menu is still super clear about gluten-free and vegan stuff. Makes it easy for my friend with allergies.

Been coming here for years, and those new self-service kiosks are a game changer. Makes it so much easier to browse the full menu and tweak your order just right. The pineapple salsa is still the star of the show for me.

The mixed grill platter is a great way to start. We shared it, and the variety of grilled meats was just right for our table. A solid choice before the mains.

The onion bhaji and sag paneer were really good. The naan was huge, honestly could have shared one between two of us. Everything tasted fresh, not oily. Good portions for the price.

Lovely spot for a quiet dinner. The staff were really helpful when I couldn't decide what to order, and their suggestion was spot on. The food was tasty and the portions generous. A very comfortable experience overall.

Ordering on the app was a breeze, really made the catch-up with friends smooth. The whole vibe is just right for a relaxed evening.

The wedges are always crispy, even after all these years.

We've been a few times now. The kids are always happy with the food, and Nikita is really good with them. It's a pretty reliable spot for a family meal.

Tayla and the team were really on it for our dinner. Friendly, checked in without being overbearing. Food came out at a good pace, which is all you can ask for really.

Great gluten-free pizza options here. The activity sheets kept the kids busy, which was a nice touch for a family meal.

Nice local pub, always has a good rotation of beers from the breweries around here. The beer garden out back is a proper sun trap in the afternoon. Front tables have a decent view of the green.

Birthday dinner here. Staff were really on it, noticed everything. Food was decent. Bit noisy for a long chat, but they made the evening work.

Service was spot on - attentive without being overbearing. Everything came out at a nice pace, which kept the evening relaxed.

Jess was a real pro. She knew the wine list inside out, suggested a fantastic pairing for my steak that really worked. Even showed us the restaurant app for ordering. Friendly, efficient, made the evening smooth.

Got a table quickly, which was nice. The pizzas were really good - thin crust, nice and crispy. My granddaughter couldn't get enough of her ice cream sundae, she was so happy. The staff were lovely and checked on us a few times.

Nice local pub, part of a chain. The seats are really comfy, which is a plus. Good range of beers on tap.

Love this place tho service was a little slow but I guess this time of year and mid week to be expected. Staff polite and welcoming. Need to get a new till it was very slow. Not able to generate individual bills easily. I had a voucher from previous visit forgot to use it but perhaps a reminder being a Christmas offer might have triggered it

The refurb has really warmed the place up. It's so cosy now. Loved the view from the back over the playing fields, just perfect for a quiet pint.
