Perfect for a quick catch-up over coffee! The staff were lovely and the food came out fast. Just a bit cosy inside, tables are close.

The English breakfast was generous and delicious. Staff were kind and quick, which made for a really comfortable visit.

When I booked this, it escaped me that it was situated in the Café Royal Hotel. What a beautiful setting, on the balcony of the main reception to the hotel; and what history. Adorning the walls are memorabilia of days gone by and the rich and famous, who frequented the hotel. For instance, adjacent the dining area is an annexe that was home to the final performance of David Bowie as his alter ego, Ziggy Stardust. Elsewhere, there are pictures of Lulu, Mick Jagger and Lou Reed and many others. We chose to eat from the set menu and the food was superb. Service was swift without being rushed, and tables are well spaced so even when busy there is no feeling of being cramped, indeed quite intimate at our generous round (as many of them are) table. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant as a must see place, and we’ll be back too as it’s just too good for a one off visit. As a post matinee theatre dinner, this was perfect for us, a haven in an otherwise bustling area of London.

Had the full English breakfast here. Portions are generous for the price, and the staff were really welcoming. The bacon was cooked just right, not too crispy. A solid, classic breakfast spot.

A solid spot for a quick bite before a flight. The scones were good, tea was hot. Full breakfast and tea service available. Prices are fair. Convenient location made it a repeat stop for me.

The full English was exactly what I needed before a day out. The cafe itself is simple and bright, with those big windows letting in all the morning sun. Really nice spot just a few minutes from the station.

Flat white's always on point. Kennedy's a legend, makes you feel right at home. Good spot to park up with the laptop for a bit. Quick, no fuss.

Nice quick lunch spot. The chicken schnitzel came out fast and was crispy. Good portion for the price. Staff were friendly, got my order right away. The brownie was decent, a bit dry though. Solid for a quick bite.

A lovely neighbourhood spot. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience feel relaxed. It's nice to know the ingredients are local, too.

Popped in for a cake and ended up staying for two. They're just so fresh and light, not overly sweet at all. That lemon drizzle slice was something else. The whole place has such a cosy, welcoming vibe, perfect for a quiet afternoon.

Love the vibe here for catching up with friends. The Italian-Korean fusion is a fun twist, and the coffee is really smooth.

Been coming here for years, and the orange juice is always fresh and lovely. It’s a small thing, but it’s consistently good.

Really liked the freshness here. The ingredients felt top-notch, especially in the grilled octopus starter. It was simple but so flavourful. A bit pricey for the portion, but you can taste the quality.

Really nice vibe here, feels like dropping by a friend's place. Staff are super friendly.

Staff remembered my usual order. That personal touch makes a difference. Friendly without being overbearing. Just a solid, welcoming vibe every time.

Decent spot with generous portions. The lasagna was pretty good, and Halil is very welcoming. The jam rollie pollie was a nice touch.

Been coming here for years. The smoothies are consistently good, which is why I keep coming back.

The vibe here is just right for a quiet dinner. Really liked the low lighting and the comfy booths. Their wine list is pretty extensive too, had a lovely glass of Pinot Noir.

Been coming here for my morning coffee lately. Staff already know my usual order, which is a nice touch. Just a solid spot to start the day.

Been coming here for years, and the portions are always huge. Never feel like I'm getting short-changed, which is a big plus for me.

Happy to visit this lovely spot in my local community. Amazing food, service and atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back! As a suggestion, a couple of high protein options would be great.

Vegan options were a nice surprise. The mushroom risotto paired well with a light Pinot Noir, which was a thoughtful suggestion from the server.

The coffee was just right, rich and smooth. No burnt taste at all. Had a couple of their pastries with it, which were fresh and not too sweet. A nice, simple stop.

The Tunisian lamb on Thursdays is the real deal. Tender, flavourful, and perfect for a solo meal. Staff are lovely too.

The flat white was just right, and the baristas were so friendly. A really comfortable spot to sit and enjoy a coffee.

Been coming here for years to work. The WiFi's always solid and there are plenty of sockets. Never feels packed, even on a Saturday.

The ice cream here is absolutely fabulous! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, and the flavors are to die for. Definitely a must-try!

Been here a few times for the waffles and ice cream. They're good, a bit different from the usual. Staff are always nice and helpful, which is a plus.

The Basque cheesecake is a must-order! It's so creamy and rich, the perfect sweet finish to share with friends. A bit on the pricier side, but you can really taste the quality in every bite.

Loved the warm banana bread here. But it's the view of the harbour that really does it for me. Just sat with my coffee, watching the boats. A proper little escape from the city bustle. The staff were lovely too.
