Mario’s the reason I keep coming back—he actually remembers my usual order. That alone makes the place feel more personal. They also bring out small snacks with each round, which is a nice touch. Nothing fancy, but decent for a casual drink. Pretty good spot overall, just gets a bit loud later in the evening.

Stopped by for a cold brew and it hit the spot. Coffee was solid, barista knew what they were doing. Place is small but has that old town charm. Didn't feel rushed even though it was busy. Good if you're wandering around and need a caffeine fix.

Nice spot right in the center of Heraklion, grabbed a table with a sea view. Coffee was fine, nothing fancy, but the location makes it worth stopping by for a quick break.

Stopped by for a quick dessert after work. The profiterole was really good, not too sweet, just right. Place sits right on the main road so the outdoor tables get some traffic noise, but honestly the dessert made up for it. I'd come back just for that.

The handmade filo pastry is the real deal—watched them stretch it right in the workshop. Baklava was fresh, not too sweet.

The cappuccino freddo had a proper thick crema, not the watery foam you get in most places. Barista actually knew what they were doing and took time to talk through the blends. Sat by the window, chairs were decent enough to linger over the cup. Would go back just for that coffee.

The spaghetti at Crazy Professor was actually decent. Fresh, good flavor, not the usual tourist stuff. Had it on the terrace and the sunset made it better. Pizza looked solid too, maybe next time. Place was a bit busy but whatever. Fine spot if you're in the area.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and had the lamb dish—pretty good, decent portion for the price. Owner was friendly without hovering, which I appreciated. Place is small but fine for a casual bite. Maybe slightly slow on the refill, but nothing major. Solid choice if you're in the area.

Loved the beachfront spot and chalk drawings. Staff were quick, food solid. Slightly pricey but fair for the location.

We've been eating here for years and the meatballs with ouzo sauce are still my favorite thing on the menu. The place gets busy but the food stays consistent. Vasili's crew always takes care of us.

The staff fixed my order mix-up right away, made a fresh pizza without any fuss. That meant a lot to me. Pizza was good too, lots of toppings, just like usual. The seating was comfortable, which I always appreciate. Nice to have a meal without any hassle for a change.

Loved the view of the Venetian fortress while eating fresh seafood right on the beach. Service was quick too. Just wish they had more shade, got a bit warm sitting there.

Been coming here for years whenever I'm in Matala. Owners still remember me, that's something. Had the souvlaki and tzatziki again, hit the spot like always. Service is fast, no fuss. Place gets busy but they keep it moving. Not fancy, but for street food it's consistent. That's why I keep going back.
