Popped in late, one of the few spots still serving. The view of the river from the window seat was a nice surprise. Had a decent burger, nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. Good for a casual late bite.

Lovely spot for a light lunch. The salad was so fresh, with really crisp greens. Nice view of the dock too.

The pizza here is so light and flavourful, nothing like those heavy, doughy ones. The crust is perfect, and you can tell they use good ingredients. A really nice change from the usual kebab shop options.

Service was quick, staff were really polite. The fish was cooked to order, the batter was super crunchy. Perfect for a casual catch-up with friends, we didn't feel rushed at all.

Generous portions for what you pay. The fruity curry sauce was a nice surprise - had a great depth of flavour. Went nicely with a crisp lager.

Just had the Thai curry at this village pub. It’s been done up nicely, but the curry was the thing – tasted exactly like the ones I had in Bangkok. Really took me back.

The roast was lovely, and their wine list had some nice pairings.

Been coming here for years, and their pizza nights are still the highlight. The Neapolitan crust is spot-on every time. Just wish they did it more than a couple of nights a week!

The fish and chips are cooked fresh to order, you can really tell. The batter is light and crisp, and the fish inside is flaky and moist. It's a simple thing done right.

Dog-friendly, which is a plus. My pint was decent, but a bit pricey for what it was.

Came here for the pistachio ice cream, it's a proper treat. The portion was generous for the price, definitely felt like good value. Nice to find a spot that does it so well.

Lovely that they welcome dogs. The outdoor seating is comfortable and they even provide water bowls.

Been coming here for years. The portions are still generous and the food arrives quickly, even on busy nights.

Brought our cat along, and they were super welcoming. The portions are huge for the price, which is a nice surprise.

They really welcome dogs here. Saw a few happy pups with their own water bowls outside. My spaniel loved it. The staff didn't mind him at all. A nice spot if you're out with the family and the four-legged member.

Nice spot for a pint, music was just right. The fish and chips were solid – crispy batter, proper chunky chips. A bit on the pricey side for a pub meal, but the vibe was good.

Steak and ale pie was spot on. Table ordering system is a plus for groups. Everyone can pay their own share. Staff were quick and friendly. Prices are okay.

Ollie was super friendly when we arrived. The oatmilk mocha was spot on, really good. We just grabbed a cheese toastie and some chips for a quick bite. A nice, relaxed spot for lunch with the dog.

Sunday roast here is decent. Portions are generous for the price, which is what I look for. The interior is nice and clean, but honestly, I'm just here for a filling meal that doesn't break the bank. This fits the bill.

Great spot to bring the dog. Sat outside with a view of the castle and the old street. Just grabbed a quick drink, but the setting was ideal for a break.

Been coming here for years, and the fish finger sandwich is still my go-to. It's always just right – not too big, not too small. That consistency keeps me coming back.

The carvery is always packed, so definitely book ahead. The roast beef was spot on today, really tender and the gravy was just right. Good value for what you get.

Been coming here for years, always bring the family. That harbour view never gets old. The fish and chips is my go-to, crispy batter every single time. It’s just a reliable spot.

Had the roast dinner pre-ordered for our group. The portion was huge, which was nice. But the real standout was the quality of the ingredients – everything tasted so fresh. The chocolate brownie sundae was a lovely finish.

Been coming here for years. The chicken dishes are always spot on, really generous portions too. Just wish they'd change up the menu a bit more often, feels a bit samey after a while.
