Lovely that they welcome dogs. The outdoor seating is comfortable and they even provide water bowls.

Been coming here for years. The portions are still generous and the food arrives quickly, even on busy nights.

Brought our cat along, and they were super welcoming. The portions are huge for the price, which is a nice surprise.

The mussels were a nice surprise, really tender and full of flavour. The broth was light but had a good depth to it.

The burger was spot on - juicy patty, good bun. The chocolate dessert was rich without being too sweet. Nice relaxed vibe in the place. Staff were really friendly and attentive.

Easy to miss spot. Porridge with fresh fruit and nuts was a solid, healthy breakfast. Hearty portion. Good for a quiet morning.

A really nice independent bakery and cafe, feels cosy and a bit quirky. The staff were so friendly and helpful when I was choosing a pastry. It's a nice change from the usual chains.

Came for a quick bite, ended up trying a few things. The Eccles cakes were nice, flaky pastry with a good amount of currants. The Viennese whirls were decent too. Honestly, for the price I paid, I was hoping the portions would be a bit more generous.

The pea and ham soup was lovely. You could really taste the freshness of the peas, and the ham was a nice, lean cut. The broccoli and stilton was a bit too rich for my lunch, but the broccoli itself was very fresh.

The custard tartlets here are just lovely. That flaky pastry and the creamy filling... it's the kind of simple thing that makes a morning in Conwy feel right. We kept coming back for them.

Jacket potato and salad for under a fiver, can't complain.

Been coming here for years. That sausage bun is always packed full, just the way I like it. They haven't changed it, which is why I keep coming back. A solid, reliable choice.

The coffee is decent and always consistent. A bit on the pricier side, but the central location makes it a handy spot for a quick pick-me-up.

Perfect spot to refuel after a hike in Snowdonia. Right by the trailhead. Had the lamb stew and it was exactly what I needed - hearty and warming. The meat was really tender.

Had a nice lunch. The menu's got loads of options, which is handy. I went for the bacon and mash – both were spot on. My only small gripe was the seating; the chairs are a bit too low for the tables, so you're sort of hunched over.

Just had a family dinner here. The bill was surprisingly low for the amount of food we got. Portions were generous, everyone left full. Good spot if you're watching the budget.

Came for a coffee, left with a custard slice. The pastry was so flaky, custard just right. Honestly, the best I've had. I'll be back to try the rest of the menu for sure.

The crispy duck was the standout. Skin was properly rendered and crisp, the meat underneath still juicy. The pancakes were thin and held up well. A solid portion, too. Just a shame the hoisin sauce was a bit too sweet for my taste.

Lovely little spot. The staff were really helpful with my allergies and made a custom sundae for me. Coffee and cake were solid too.

The coffee here is decent, but the real star is the selection of books. Spent an hour just browsing the shelves after my coffee. A nice, quiet spot to unwind.

Perfect spot for a quick bite. The carrot cake was fresh and moist, flapjack had a nice crunch. Service was fast, got my order in under 5 minutes. Just what I needed on a busy day.

Grilled goat's cheese and a Caesar salad, both about £12. Portions were generous for the price, especially the chicken. Came out really quickly even though it was packed. Good find after the castle.

Sue is a very friendly host. The homemade cakes and toasties are good, simple food. It's a convenient spot for a quick, no-fuss bite. The service is prompt.

Lots of vegan and dairy-free choices. The vegan chocolate ice cream was really creamy, and they were super careful about my nut allergy.

The desserts here are gorgeous. Had the matcha tiramisu and it was stunning, really well presented. Coffee was good too, and the bill didn't hurt. Nice little spot.

The area was within a few minutes of walk to the castle. The surroundings were lovely as it was on a small town street with shops. The seating worked very well for the 4 of us. Staff were very nice as we were served within a few minutes and it was lovely to spend the afternoon there as it was very quiet. I had a cup of tea and it was very nice as it looked traditional in terms to the way they served it and it tasted lovely. I even had a small bit of a piece of Hazelnut sugary cake that my friend bought and I loved how sweet it was. I would definitely recommend this place to others visiting the area!
