The cafe is modern and bright, and the toilets were spotless. The wine list was a nice surprise, had a decent glass of Pinot Grigio.

The staff here are genuinely warm and friendly. They remembered our names from a previous visit, which was a nice touch. Makes the place feel more like a neighbourhood spot than just another restaurant.

Decent spot for a quick business lunch. The lasagna is filling, good portion for the price. Service is efficient, which I appreciate. Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done.

Perfect quick stop on the coastal path. Got the fish and chips, decent portion, crispy batter. Coffee was strong and hot. Just what you need after a long walk. Service was quick, in and out.

The vegetarian tasting menu was a solid deal for what you get. Each course was nicely sized, didn't feel like a tiny bite of anything. Left pleasantly full without that "was that it?" feeling you sometimes get.

Loved the jungle vibe here, tucked away in the trees. The outdoor patio is the spot to be - so quiet and peaceful, just looking out into the woods. Perfect for a slow coffee.

A very dog-friendly spot, they even have beds for them. The food was pretty good, generous portions. Service was quick even on a busy Saturday. The setting is pleasant. We'll be back.

Pasta of the day was tasty. The haddock fish and chips had a lovely crunchy batter. Table service was quick and efficient, which is exactly what I needed for a lunch break. Got me in and out in good time.

The banana blossom ‘fish’ was surprisingly good, crispy outside and flaky inside. The chips were perfect, proper chunky and golden. Mushy peas on point. A solid vegan option that actually feels like a treat.

A nice spot for a quiet coffee. The upstairs is comfy, but the portion for the avocado toast felt a bit small for the price. It was tasty, just left me wanting a little more.

The Welsh Rarebit was pretty good, and the coleslaw was fresh. I liked that they used proper cooked ham in the bagels. The cheesecake selection looked tempting, though the service was a bit slow.

Dog-friendly spot, nice for families too. I asked to swap a side on my order and they sorted it no problem. 👍 Just a chill, easy lunch.

Solid spot for a quick lunch. The salad bar lets you pick three from five options, which is handy. Grabbed a pastel de nata too. Staff were friendly and quick. Got in and out in under 30 mins.

Ordered the American burger via the app, arrived in 10 minutes. Staff were really friendly and even fixed our wobbly table.

Lovely little spot! The staff were super friendly and the cafe itself is spotless. But honestly, the real star was the food presentation – my avocado toast looked like a little work of art on the plate. Almost too pretty to eat!

The medieval tower setting is just brilliant. Cosy, quirky, with a little museum downstairs. The wine list had a few local gems that paired surprisingly well with the rustic feel of the place. A bit chilly by the old stone walls, but that just added to the charm.

Lunch spot I keep coming back to. That chicken, bacon, and cheese panini is my go-to – the bread is always perfectly toasted and the filling is just right. Prices are fair.

The carrot cake here is spot on. Moist, with a good balance of spice, and the cream cheese frosting isn't cloyingly sweet. The lemon drizzle had a nice sharp tang too. Just the right kind of treat with a coffee.
