The veggie burger was huge, easily enough for two. Came with a side of sweet potato fries that filled the whole plate. For £12, you really can't complain about the portion size here.

Loved the sea theme here. They've really thought it through, even the bathrooms have little nautical touches. It's a cosy spot, felt very welcoming.

Been coming here for years, and their tempura soft shell crab never disappoints. It's always perfectly crispy, never greasy. That consistency is why I keep coming back. The mussels are great too, but honestly, I'm here for the crab.

Perfect pizzas. Got the gluten-free one for lunch. Ate it at a picnic table by the sea. Just right.

Loved the vibe here, and it's so dog-friendly! The borscht soup was the real star for me - rich, with just the right amount of tang. My pup was very happy with the water bowl.

Pancakes were solid - fluffy texture, generous toppings. Kids menu had decent options. Staff were friendly with our toddler. Service was efficient, which is key for a family breakfast. Good spot for a quick, no-fuss meal.

The fish chowder was really good, and the Welsh rarebit was a solid choice. But honestly, what stood out was how clean the whole place felt. Spotless. It just makes you feel comfortable sitting there for a while.

Nice spot for families. The staff were really good with the kids, brought their food out quickly and didn’t mind the mess. My coffee was spot on. Menu’s got loads of options too.

The kids menu is actually pretty solid here. My little one had the fish fingers and chips, and the portion was decent for the price. The fish was crispy, not soggy. Good option if you're grabbing something quick before the train.

Bacon and Brie baguette was spot on. Quick service too, perfect for a lunch break. They even threw in a couple of sausages for the dogs!

Grabbed a quick lunch here twice now. Food's solid and they get it out fast. Good selection of takeaway boxes too. Just what you need when you're in a rush.

The breakfast bap was spot on. They have a nice selection of loose-leaf teas that paired really well with it.

Lovely breakfast in the village. The staff were so friendly and quick, always smiling. Just what I needed to start the day.

Lovely spot for a light lunch. The salad was so fresh, with really crisp greens. Nice view of the dock too.

Came here for the pistachio ice cream, it's a proper treat. The portion was generous for the price, definitely felt like good value. Nice to find a spot that does it so well.

Lovely that they welcome dogs. The outdoor seating is comfortable and they even provide water bowls.

The burger here is the thing. That smoked bacon is a proper thick cut, and the homemade sauce has a real kick to it. Coleslaw's homemade too, not too sharp. It's just a solid, well-made plate of food.

Stopped in for a light lunch. The toasties were spot on. Really well-presented, tasted great. Quick service too.

The coleslaw is unreal, honestly. Creamy and fresh, with a nice crunch. Their breakfast rolls are huge too - perfect for a lazy weekend. It does get packed though, so maybe avoid peak hours.

Easy to miss spot. Porridge with fresh fruit and nuts was a solid, healthy breakfast. Hearty portion. Good for a quiet morning.

A really nice independent bakery and cafe, feels cosy and a bit quirky. The staff were so friendly and helpful when I was choosing a pastry. It's a nice change from the usual chains.

Jacket potato and salad for under a fiver, can't complain.

Had a nice lunch. The menu's got loads of options, which is handy. I went for the bacon and mash – both were spot on. My only small gripe was the seating; the chairs are a bit too low for the tables, so you're sort of hunched over.

Just had a family dinner here. The bill was surprisingly low for the amount of food we got. Portions were generous, everyone left full. Good spot if you're watching the budget.

The coffee here is decent, but the real star is the selection of books. Spent an hour just browsing the shelves after my coffee. A nice, quiet spot to unwind.

Perfect spot for a quick bite. The carrot cake was fresh and moist, flapjack had a nice crunch. Service was fast, got my order in under 5 minutes. Just what I needed on a busy day.

The desserts here are gorgeous. Had the matcha tiramisu and it was stunning, really well presented. Coffee was good too, and the bill didn't hurt. Nice little spot.

The coffee is decent and always consistent. A bit on the pricier side, but the central location makes it a handy spot for a quick pick-me-up.

Grilled goat's cheese and a Caesar salad, both about £12. Portions were generous for the price, especially the chicken. Came out really quickly even though it was packed. Good find after the castle.

Sue is a very friendly host. The homemade cakes and toasties are good, simple food. It's a convenient spot for a quick, no-fuss bite. The service is prompt.
