The fish and chips are a proper treat! The batter is so light and crisp, and the cod is thick and flaky, not that thin, oily stuff you sometimes get. Perfect for a casual catch-up with friends, though it did take a little while to arrive.

Staff were friendly, place was clean and comfortable. Had the cod goujons and crème brûlée - both were very good. Price felt fair for what you get.

The chicken tikka masala here is a proper good curry. The chicken was spot on, not dry at all, and the sauce had a decent kick to it. Honestly, one of the better ones I've had in a while.

The fishcakes were a great shout from the server. Really tasty. The lamb main was beautifully tender, and the plaite was spot on. But that cauliflower cheese side? Honestly, the best I've had in ages.

Grabbed a takeaway from here the other day. The chicken korma was pretty good, flavours were nice and the portion was decent. Staff were friendly when I picked it up.

The mussels were a nice surprise, really tender and full of flavour. The broth was light but had a good depth to it.

The curries are solid, big portions for the price. I wasn't expecting much but the flavour was a nice surprise.

Good portions, fresh local ingredients. Quality's consistent. For the price, it's solid. No frills, just reliable food.

The burger was spot on - juicy patty, good bun. The chocolate dessert was rich without being too sweet. Nice relaxed vibe in the place. Staff were really friendly and attentive.

Stumbled in after a long walk. The beef stew was spot on - rich, tender, and just what I needed. The place has a real cosy, homely feel.

Perfect spot to refuel after a hike in Snowdonia. Right by the trailhead. Had the lamb stew and it was exactly what I needed - hearty and warming. The meat was really tender.

Came for a coffee, left with a custard slice. The pastry was so flaky, custard just right. Honestly, the best I've had. I'll be back to try the rest of the menu for sure.

The crispy duck was the standout. Skin was properly rendered and crisp, the meat underneath still juicy. The pancakes were thin and held up well. A solid portion, too. Just a shame the hoisin sauce was a bit too sweet for my taste.

The roast duck was the highlight. The skin was perfectly crispy and the meat was so juicy, you could really taste the freshness.

The chicken kebab here is a standout. The meat was cooked just right, so tender it practically fell apart. I've had a lot of kebabs, but this one really sticks in my mind.

The chips were fried separately from the fish, which I noticed right away. A good move for anyone avoiding cross-contamination. They use vegetable oil too. It’s a small thing, but shows they’ve thought it through.

The staff were so attentive even on a packed Saturday night. They checked in just the right amount, never felt rushed. Really appreciated that.

Really appreciated how they adjusted the dishes to our preferences. The chef took the time to ask about our likes and focused on using fresh ingredients. It felt thoughtful and made the meal more enjoyable for us. A nice touch.

Great spot by the docks. Easy walk from my hotel. Fish and chips were spot on. Crispy batter, proper chips. A bit breezy on the terrace, but fine with a jacket. Solid.

Pleasantly surprised by the vegetarian options here. Our group had a mix of dietary needs, and everyone found something solid. The mushroom risotto was particularly well-executed. Good spot for a reliable meal in the area.

Chilled vibe. Staff are there when you need them, but never hover. Just let you eat in peace. That's the main thing for me.

The staff were so lovely and really took care of us with our different spice preferences. Made it a really easy, relaxed meal with friends.
