First time here, and the food was really fresh. I had the grilled salmon, it was perfectly cooked and full of flavour. Nice to find a place that gets the basics right.

The three-course meal really stood out, better than I'd hoped. Staff were on it, but not hovering. My main arrived just a touch cool, a small thing. Still, a really good evening.

Saw a couple of wrong dishes go to other tables while waiting. My own pasta was good, but my friend's risotto was a bit undercooked. Shame, as the place has a nice vibe.

Proper fish and chips. The haddock was so fresh, the batter was light and crisp. The onion rings were a highlight, not greasy at all. A really nice, simple meal. The staff were friendly too.

Been coming here for years. The white chocolate sauce with the ice cream is still the one thing I always order.

The room was spacious and spotless. The hosts were lovely, and their local wine recommendation was a perfect match for the evening.

The view of the sea and Mourne mountains was incredible. Made our catch-up lunch feel extra special.

The sandwiches here are something else. Had the roast beef on rye, and it was just spot on. The hot food looked good too, but I was all about the sandwich this time. A solid lunch spot.

The coffee here is just right. And those traybakes? I had a slice of the lemon drizzle, it was so good. Service is always spot-on, never feels rushed. A really nice little spot.

The fish and chips were really fresh, the batter was light and crispy. The peas on the side tasted like they were just shelled. Portions are generous, maybe a bit too much for me! A solid choice for a hearty, fresh meal.

The chicken biryani is the one. The rice has this distinct, almost floral aroma, and the chicken pieces are incredibly tender, falling apart easily. It's a generous portion too. The vegetable fried rice was fine, but the biryani is what I'd order again.

Tried the family deal, good value for sure. Kids loved their meals, which is a win. My plate was decent, but the chicken was a touch dry. Still, a solid option for a family dinner out.

Cozy spot, good for a relaxed meal. The portion sizes were decent for the price. I got the chicken pasta, and it was a good amount for what I paid. Didn't feel like I was overcharged for a tiny plate.

Been coming here for years, and the recent refurb is lovely. Still my go-to for a proper burger and fries. The wine list is short but thoughtful – found a decent Malbec that worked surprisingly well with the beef. A solid, unpretentious spot.

Stumbled in for a quick bite. The steak tacos are legit, really authentic. Had them in Mexico City once, and these come close. Just a solid, simple lunch.

Menu's the same for years. But the pasta's always solid.
