The Palatinate platter was solid—saumagen especially good. Service friendly without hovering. Decent spot if you're after proper German food.

Came for the rump steak day—solid plate, no complaints. Friendly service too. Only thing: a quarter liter of wine felt a bit steep for what it was.

The Pad Thai really hit the spot, and portions are generous for what you pay. Staff got me in and out fast. Solid pick if you're in the area and craving Thai.

Roast beef with sesame cabbage and that sweet potato-ginger-lime purée was the highlight. Wine prices fair for once. Main course took a while, but the bottle kept us busy.

Nice little café with decent vegan cake options. Got a slice of the chocolate one and a flat white - both did the job. Service was friendly enough.

Decent prices on weekdays, especially Monday for bowling. Place is big and well laid out for group stuff.

This place has been around forever, and you can tell. Food came out crazy fast, almost like fast food, but it felt a bit more polished than that. One dish was easily enough for two people. We ordered the mapo tofu, it was solid. Nothing fancy, just dependable. The room was a little bright for my taste, but the quick service made up for it.

Stopped by for dinner and grabbed a glass of their house red—decent pour, went well with the grilled fish. Food came out fresh, no complaints there. Place has a relaxed feel, easy to sit and chat for a while. Service was friendly enough, though it took a moment to get the bill. Fine for a casual night out.

The fried sepia with dried chilis was the standout — properly crispy, not chewy. I’d order that again. Service was friendly enough, and the free rice refills didn’t hurt. Place gets busy around 7, so don’t expect a quiet dinner. Fine for a quick meal if you’re in the area.

The daily menu changes with fresh local stuff. Had the pasta special, sauce was spot on. Chef clearly knows what he's doing with flavor.

Milenko took care of us perfectly—attentive without hovering. The food was solid, though I mostly came for the wine list. Been coming here for years, still does the trick.

The schnitzel's still as good as the first time I came here. Meat tender, gravy rich, and the portion easily fills you up. Price is fair for what you get.

Solid breakfast spot. Handled our group of 10 without a hitch, staff stayed friendly the whole time. Food came out right, no complaints. Good option if you need to feed a bigger crew.

Paninis were fresh and came out fast. Perfect for a quick lunch stop. Staff didn't rush me either. Solid spot if you're in the area.

Quick service, staff were friendly and actually helpful. Good spot if you just need coffee and cake. Nothing fancy but it works.

The owner actually remembered us from years back when we used to come here. That alone made the visit. Food still tastes the same, which is a good thing.

Stopped by for a quiet afternoon. Rhubarb and redcurrant meringue cake was nicely balanced, not overly sweet. Cappuccino done right. Sat on the terrace, sun was out, pretty chill. Place wasn't crowded which I liked. Cake could've been a bit bigger for the price, but fine for a one-off.

Stopped by for coffee and cake with a friend—place is super cozy inside, lots of little decorations. We grabbed a slice of their chocolate cake and it was solid, not too sweet. Service was quick even though it was pretty full. Just wish the chairs were a bit comfier for lounging around longer 😅

Stopped by for lunch — the corkscrew museum on the wall is a nice touch, gives the place character. Food was fresh, flavors came through well. Owner clearly cares about the wine list, talked us through a couple of good picks. Not fancy, but honest cooking. Worth the detour if you're in the area.

Stopped by for a late breakfast. Staff spoke English, which made ordering easy. Had a slice of cake — pretty good, not too sweet. Outdoor seating was nice, weather held up. Solid spot if you're in the area and want something quick. Nothing fancy, but it does the job.

The chicken roghan josh was really good, and I liked that they have halal options. Staff were friendly too. Just wish the seating area was a bit more comfortable, the chairs felt a little hard after a while.

The salmon tempura roll was really good and the portion sizes are solid for the price. Service was fine, just a bit slow since they were packed. Good spot for a casual catch-up with friends.

Been coming here for a while now. The monthly burger vote is a cool idea, keeps things fresh. Nice to see a place stick with local ingredients.

The kimchi here tastes properly fermented, not the watered-down version. Ribs were tender and the portion actually filled me up. Solid spot in Karlsruhe for Korean food.

Cash or PayPal only — no card. Fine by me. Place was busy but the food came out fast. Had the schnitzel, still crispy, not soggy. Tasted fresh, not like it sat around. Solid stop if you want a quick dinner without fuss.

Decent spot for a quick bite. Staff were polite, prices fair. Had the schnitzel, it did the job. Place was a bit noisy but fine for what it is. Wouldn't go out of my way, but if you're in the area, it's a solid option.

Big menu, burgers to pasta, all covered. Sat outside, service was friendly. Burger came out solid, nothing crazy but decent for the price.

The Salat Magazine with goat cheese was solid, but those bacon-wrapped dates really stole the show. Prices felt fair for what you get. Service kept things moving without hovering.
