Cozy spot with only a dozen seats. Service was attentive, which was good as we needed quick service before a meeting.

The brownies are so good, I had to get a box to take home. The staff were really friendly and helpful when I was picking out flavours. It's a lovely little spot for a treat.

Nick the owner is so lovely, really makes you feel at home. The food is fresh and you can tell it's made with care. Perfect spot for a relaxed catch-up with friends.

The fish and chips were decent. The batter was crisp, chips were thick cut. A bit heavy on the salt for my taste, but the fish itself was fresh. Good portion size.

The fish was cooked fresh, batter was light and crisp. Chips were golden and fluffy. Mushy peas were a nice touch. That’s pretty much it.

Stopped by with my family, four of us. Every small plate was a hit. Really liked the presentation. Hard to pick a favourite.

The view over the water is just lovely. Sat by the window with a glass of wine for ages, it was so relaxing. A nice spot to unwind.

Nice spot by the market square. Came for a late lunch and sat outside. Ordered the fish and chips. Portion was decent for the price, the chips were proper chunky. Could've used another piece of fish though.

The spice level was just right for me, and the flavours felt so authentic. A really nice touch that you can adjust it to your own taste.

The wine list was a real treat. Our table was tucked away near the stairs, which felt a bit like a corridor. Still, the food was lovely.

Stumbled upon this cafe just off the high street. The coffee and homemade cakes are very reasonably priced. Soup and coffee were served properly hot, which I appreciate. Good spot for a quick, no-fuss lunch.

Booked for a Sunday lunch with friends. The food came out piping hot, which was perfect for our chilled catch-up. Staff were really on it with refills too.

A solid, straightforward meal for five at £30. The staff were polite, and the little chocolate for my daughter was a nice touch. Their house red was a pleasant surprise with the mains.

The open fire makes this place so cosy on a chilly evening. The fish and chips were spot on – the batter was perfectly crispy.

Great find on holiday. Owners were super helpful, even called a taxi for us.

Popped in for the Sunday carvery. The roast beef was spot on, really tender. Loads of veg options, and those roast potatoes were the highlight - crispy outside, fluffy inside. Solid choice for a lazy weekend lunch.

The pizza is so good, perfect for a casual catch-up with friends. They deliver too, which is a bonus.

Nice little spot for a coffee and cake. The leather sofas at the front are a comfortable place to sit. The atmosphere is pleasant, though it can get a bit busy. A decent choice for a quiet break.

Nice place, very dog-friendly. Sat outside and the staff were lovely with our pup. Inside looked clean and cosy too. Good for a casual family meal.

The jacket potato with tuna mayo was simple, but the potato itself was cooked just right. Fluffy inside, skin had a bit of crisp. The tuna mix was decent, not too wet. A solid, filling lunch.

Grabbed a crepe for a quick lunch. They cook it right there, and it was still hot when I got back to my desk. Tastes just like the ones I had in Paris. Quick and tasty.

A lovely little place, fresh and friendly. The menu's simple but everything we ordered was tasty. The team really stood out - so bright and bubbly, they made the whole visit. Service was definitely the highlight for us.

Chicken Saatkora was the standout. It's a big portion for the price, easily enough for two. We ended up taking half home. The rest of the menu looked good too, but that dish alone makes it worth the trip.

A lovely spot near the beach. The festive decor was a nice touch. Food was solid, especially the savoury scones. My only gripe was the wine list felt a bit limited for the menu. Could have used a few more interesting reds by the glass.

Popped in for a coffee and a slice of cake after a walk around Shaldon. The place has a really nice, relaxed vibe. The staff were friendly and quick, even though there was a bit of a queue.

Been coming here for years, and the lunch deal is still spot on. Two courses for under £12, and the portions are decent. Everything always arrives hot, which is a big plus for me. The chocolate brownie is a proper treat.

Parking's tight on weekends, but the pub's free car park saved me a few quid over the paid lot nearby.
