The French toast is the move here. Thick cut, golden brown, and just the right amount of crisp on the edges. It&#39;s not overly sweet, which I like. The bacon on the side was good, but honestly, the toast is the star. Simple and done right.

Classic old Irish pub, exactly what I was hoping for. Grabbed a seat at the bar and the Guinness was poured perfectly. Really hit the spot after a long week. Plenty of street parking made it easy. Just a solid, reliable spot for a proper pint.

The owner was everywhere - at the bar, running plates, checking tables. Saw him finally sit for a family meal after the rush. You don&#39;t see that hands-on care much anymore. It shows.
