The pumpkin French toast sounded good but when I asked about it, the waitress just said "it's good" and walked off. I wanted to know if it had nuts or something. Food itself was fresh though, I got the avocado toast and the bread was nicely toasted. Coffee was decent too. Just wish they'd give more details when you ask about ingredients.

Nice spot away from the tourist crowds. Food was well presented, decent portions. Service was quick enough for a weekday lunch. Prices fair for the area. Just note it's a short walk from the main strip, so you won't stumble on it by accident. I'd come back if I'm in the neighborhood again.

Came in pretty late, most places were already shut. Got the Ecuadorian potato soup, honestly better than I expected. Staff was friendly, no complaints there. Quesadilla was basic but did the job. Salad though, kinda plain, could use more dressing or something. Fine spot if you need a real meal after hours.

The raisin bread with jam here is solid—toasted just right, not too sweet. Coffee comes in real cups, which I appreciate. Staff's friendly too. Good spot for a quick breakfast.

The terrace is what I remember most—plenty of space, not cramped at all. I had the grilled fish and it tasted fresh, simple seasoning. Service was friendly but the food took a bit to come out. I didn't mind much since I was just chatting. Good spot if you're not in a rush.

Stopped by for lunch after walking along the river. Got the lentil burger — crunchy, filling, not dry at all. Kale smoothie on the side was a nice touch. Place sits right by the water, so the view is chill. Staff were friendly enough. Solid spot if you're in the area.

The veggie nachos here are seriously good. Loaded with toppings, not stingy at all. I’ve been a few times now and they’re always consistent. Prices are fair for what you get. Place gets busy but it’s still chill enough to hang out. Just wish they’d clear the empty plates a bit faster.

Stopped in for a quick lunch around 1. Falafel and hummus were solid. Got my food fast, which is all I really ask for. Place was busy but the guy at the counter kept things moving. Not fancy, but it works for a quick bite.

The locro de papas was the standout. Creamy, cheesy, hit the spot. Had the grilled trout too, fresh and well-seasoned. View of Cuenca from the table is a nice bonus, but honestly I was just focused on the food. Portions are decent for the price. Would come back just for that soup.

The flaming Ferrari shot is a must if you come here. Just split it with someone unless you plan on calling it a night early. Fun spot, though the taste is pretty strong.

Been here a few times now, and the service is what keeps me coming back. Staff remembers your order after the second visit, which is rare. Food's decent, nothing mind-blowing, but that consistency is why I bother. Place gets a bit loud on weekends though. Still, it's my go-to when I want a familiar meal without the fuss.

The croissants here are properly flaky, you can tell the baker knows what they’re doing. Cozy little spot in Cuenca. Just wish there was a bit more seating, felt a little cramped.

That $4 lunch special is honestly hard to beat around here. I grabbed the veggie option and the flavors were on point—simple but really tasty. Portion was decent too. Kinda wish I'd tried the meat one instead, but hey, next time. Already thinking about going back.

Stopped by for lunch during a work trip. Had the seco de pollo, solid flavor, came out hot. Coffee was decent too. Place was busy but service kept up fine. Not the cheapest, but fair for the area. I'd go back if I'm in the neighborhood again.

The grilled octopus was spot on—tender and smoky. Portion felt fair for what we paid. Owner even came by to check if we needed anything.

Nice garden and friendly staff. Good spot to meet other expats in Cuenca. Food was solid, nothing crazy but I enjoyed it.

Came here with a friend and we ordered the mixed platter for two. Big mistake—should've been for three. Steak was properly tender, chicken stayed juicy. Portions are seriously generous. Service was fine, checked on us just enough. Only thing is it's a bit loud inside, but the food makes up for it.

Decent spot for a quick meal. I had the grilled fish and it was pretty good, not overcooked. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Place got a bit noisy later in the evening, but that's on me for going at peak time. Fair price for what you get.

The beer’s the real deal here. Cold, crisp, goes down way too easy. Food’s alright, nothing crazy, but that pint makes up for it. Portions are a bit small for what you pay though. I’d come back just for the beer, honestly.

The Aztec soup was solid, and the al pastor tacos hit the spot. A bit more expensive than the usual spots around here, but you can taste why.

Solid micheladas and decent food. Watched the game here, vibe was right for that. Tacos were fine, nothing crazy but hit the spot. Place gets loud though, not for a quiet dinner. If you want a casual spot for drinks and a game, this works.

Stopped by just to check the place out, didn’t even eat, and the staff still took time to walk us through the rooms. That kind of courtesy sticks with you. It’s a gorgeous old house, lots of character. I’ve been here before for dinner, and it’s always been solid. Just make sure you book ahead, it fills up fast.

Came for the daily lunch special and left full without breaking the bank. Solid Colombian comfort food, nothing fancy but it hits the spot. Had a glass of their house wine with the bandeja—not a pairing I'd normally do, but it worked fine. Place gets loud and crowded right at noon, so aim for later if you can. Staff were friendly even when it got busy.

The grilled meats were spot on—juicy, with that smoky char. The chimichurri really stole the show though, tangy and garlicky. Portions are generous, and the price felt fair for what you get. I’d go back just for that sauce honestly.

Came in for a beer, left with a Negroni. Bartender knew their stuff, drink was solid. Place had a good vibe for hanging out. Nothing fancy but it worked.
