Been coming here for years, and it's still the same. The owners are always around, and the food hasn't changed a bit. That consistency is what keeps me coming back. You just know what you're getting.

The bread basket is a real highlight. The cornbread was warm and crumbly, the rolls were soft, and the little muffin was a sweet surprise. It just felt like a thoughtful way to begin.

The red oak steak is the star here, cooked just right. The dining room has this warm, rustic vibe with exposed brick and soft lighting. It's a nice spot for a relaxed dinner, not too loud.

Love the clean, bright vibe here. Feels cozy, not like other breakfast spots.

The staff here is great with kids. They kept our little ones entertained and made sure we had everything we needed. It was a busy Saturday, but service was still on point.

The animal style burger is a total mess, but that's the whole point. Juices everywhere, sauce dripping down your fingers. You just have to lean in and embrace it.

The burger near the stadium is solid. Good, simple patty. Fries were crispy, which is key. You get a lot for the money, no complaints there.

The burger was fresh, local beef, cooked just right. Queso tots were a great choice for the side. Solid spot, always get good food and service here.

Been here twice now, and the pizza burger is a solid pick. Service has been consistently good both times, no complaints there.

The server was very kind, even though we came in close to closing time. That made a nice difference. The food was decent, though my pasta was a bit over-salted.

My husband's ribeye was cooked just right, but my chicken fried cobb salad was the star. The chicken was so juicy, and the warm bacon dressing over the cold greens was perfect. The calamari was incredibly tender, not rubbery at all.

Sat at the sushi bar, watching the chefs work. That wasabi really hits you. Just the right kind of sharp.

Been staying here for years. The recent remodel is nice, but what really stands out is the restaurant. Had the steak last night - cooked just right, good portion. Makes the stay better.

The Chicken Carbonara was the star for me. So creamy and rich, with those crispy pancetta bits. We shared a few plates family-style and everything was still piping hot when it hit the table.

Shrimp and grits were spot on. Bread pudding is a standout - one of the best I've had. Portions are generous, so the price feels fair. Solid spot for a business lunch.

The waiter was really patient and funny, which made our dinner so much better. The hostesses were also super nice when we walked in. Food came out fast and tasted good. Just a solid, friendly spot.

The pork chop had great seasoning, and the veggies were cooked just right. The birthday card and cake from the staff was a nice touch.

Fernando was our server. He took the time to explain the menu, which was helpful. Good sense of humor, kept things moving. Made for a quick, pleasant lunch.

The sandwiches here are huge! Perfect for sharing with a friend. The bread is super fresh and the deli meats taste really high quality. We ended up splitting one and still had some to take home.

Came here for happy hour, the vibe is super chill. Got the house red and some sliders, prices were solid. My slider bun was a bit dry, but the patty was juicy. Good spot to unwind after work.

Been coming here for years. The vibe is cozy, not too loud. I always get the same booth in the back. It's just a solid, reliable spot for a quiet dinner.

The crust on the pizza was the star for me—so crisp and flavorful. It just had that perfect texture. The classic toppings were good, but that crust is what I'll remember.

Been eating here for years. The food is always solid, never had a bad meal. It's just a reliable spot in the neighborhood.

The staff here was so chill with our big group. We had a reservation for 8 and they got us seated right away, no stress at all. Everyone felt super welcome.

The valet parking is a major plus here. It's free, which is a nice touch. Parking in Highland Park Village is usually a hassle, so this saved a lot of time before my business lunch.

Busy Friday night, but service was on point. Drinks arrived fast, which is key for me. The appetizers followed quickly. Pace felt relaxed, not rushed. They nailed the timing.

The guava margarita was perfectly balanced, not too sweet. The frozen affogato was a nice, creamy finish.

Tried the tuna poke bowl with grilled shrimp add-on. Fresh and well-portioned, the shrimp was cooked right. Also had the butternut squash soup, which was good for the season. Service was efficient. A solid option for a quick, healthy lunch downtown.

Cozy spot with a really nice smell of smoked meat when you walk in. The brisket was pretty good, tender and flavorful. Portions were decent. It did feel a bit warm inside, but overall a solid choice for a casual dinner.

Our server was super friendly and really made us feel at home. The food was good, but honestly, the best part was the leftovers the next day. They tasted even better, which is a huge plus for me.
