The pepperoni pizza with spicy honey was spot on. Had it with a pint in the sunshine. The pressed lamb shoulder inside was really succulent. Can't beat this spot on a sunny evening.

The room was so spacious and clean, just what I needed. It's a busy pub downstairs, but honestly, you wouldn't know it up here. So quiet. A really comfy spot to unwind.

Lunch stop. Pizza and calamari with Greek potatoes were solid. Quick and friendly service. Nice spot across from the museum.

Friday pizza night is a solid option for a quick bite. You can pick your own toppings which is great. The steak was decent too, but the pizza came out super fast. Perfect when you're short on time.

The staff are consistently kind and attentive, especially to my son. They always take the time to chat with him, which makes our visits very positive. It’s a simple thing, but it means a lot.

Stayed a few nights for work. The room was snug and comfortable, nice bedding. Breakfast was good, plenty of parking. The house red by the glass was surprisingly decent, a proper start to the day.

The New Mill is a really well designed and spacious restaurant, the staff are very pleasant and helpful. They have a good menu and the food is excellent. A very enjoyable and comfortable experience. I have eaten there many times and the different people I have taken there share the same opinion.

Great beer garden out the back, really comes into its own on a sunny afternoon. Solid choice of local ales. Staff are a friendly bunch, which makes a difference. A proper local.

Been coming here for years. It’s a proper local, and they’re always welcoming to dogs. Tried the sea bass off the specials board last night – cooked just right, simple and fresh. That’s what keeps me coming back.

Had my son's first birthday in their function room. The staff were really on top of things, handled all the little details without us having to ask. Made for a relaxed afternoon for us parents.

Had a gathering in their function room. Staff were really helpful, let us bring our own decorations and set up how we wanted. Made organising things a lot easier. The space itself was clean and worked well for our group.

Proper pub vibe, lovely landlady and friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere with good tunes. The beer garden out back is a nice spot, especially on a sunny afternoon. Just what you want from a local.

Service was spot on. Sophie and the team were really helpful with the menu, knew their stuff. Made a big difference to the meal.

Nice view of the river. Solid veggie options. Had the mushroom risotto, decent portion. A bit pricey for what it is, but okay.

Staff were great at squeezing our group in last minute. Food was fine, service was efficient. Good for a quick business lunch near the office.

A decent B&B with a lot of character. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. The two dogs wandering about are a nice touch. Good value for the price.

First time trying the cauliflower steak here. It was actually really filling, and I liked that they had a few veggie options. The salad was nice too.

Nice local pub, the owners are lovely. But I'm a bit torn on the value. Had the fish and chips, it was £16.50. Tasted fine, but the portion felt a bit on the small side for the price, you know?

Nice, relaxed pub for catching up. The space is big and clean, decor's pleasant. Service was quick, which I appreciate. Had a decent pale ale on tap that went well with the atmosphere. Coffee refills are free, a nice touch. Could use a few more interesting craft options on the drinks menu though.

Came in for a quick pint, ended up staying ages. Love how the place is split into different little rooms, each with its own old fireplace or snug. Feels like a proper local, not some chain. Good for a big group, but also nice to just find a quiet corner.

Tried their Mexican night buffet. The spread was solid, tacos were fresh, and they kept things moving. Got a bit crowded later, but a decent change of pace.
