Decent portions, fresh ingredients. The lobster and hake are reliably good. Solid choice for a straightforward business lunch.

Been coming here for years. It's the landlord that keeps me coming back - always has a chat, remembers your name. The food's solid, big portions too. It's just a good, honest local.

Fun, quirky spot with good music. Grabbed a casual lunch and ended up staying a couple hours to get some work done. The vibe is just right for that.

The fish and chips are the real draw here. The batter is light and crisp, the chips are proper thick-cut and fluffy inside. The mushy peas on the side have just the right texture. That's what you come for.

Had a lovely lunch at Royal William Yard. The space was so quiet and peaceful, perfect for a relaxed meal. Service was friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience really pleasant.

Excellent value for money. Staff were very helpful and friendly Food was delicious and piping hot. Will definitely recommend 👌 Will eat there again when in Plymouth

The staff were so helpful explaining the menu options, especially for someone like me who cares about fresh ingredients.

Stopped in for a coffee and a pastry. The counter was packed with so many authentic Portuguese sweets, it was hard to pick just one! A really lovely little spot in Plymouth. The staff were friendly, and my choice was absolutely delicious.

The chopped sausages for nervous dogs are a nice touch. My rescue was a bit jumpy, but he settled right down with those. It’s a simple thing, but it shows they get it. The place is genuinely dog-friendly, not just saying it is.

Came for the breakfast. The pork dumplings are a nice homemade touch. For the price though, the portion felt a bit on the small side. I was hoping for a bit more food.

Popped in on a scorcher and the team offered a complimentary iced tea while we waited. Just a really nice, thoughtful touch. The lamb chops were spot-on, too.

The bread rolls are so light and soft. Picked some up for a picnic and they were spot on. A glass of crisp white wine would have been a great pairing, but I forgot to pack one. Still, very tasty with some ham and mustard.

Lovely, cosy spot. The staff are so friendly and smiley, which really makes a difference. Food is solid, just what you want from a local cafe. Portions are generous for the price. Found the chairs a bit hard for a long sit, but otherwise a very comfortable visit.

Stumbled across this place on a hunt for cream tea. The scones were so fresh, still warm! The owner was lovely, really chatted with our group which made it a nice, relaxed catch-up. Good value for a proper treat.

The decor and atmosphere of the rooftop bar are impressive, creating a chic and inviting environment. It's an ideal location for a romantic date or a celebratory gathering with friends.
