My friends and I tried the burger here last weekend. Honestly, it&#39;s the best one I&#39;ve had in the Bay Area. The patty was so juicy, and the bun was perfect. We ended up chatting for ages after finishing our food. Just a great spot to catch up.

Popped in for a browse, and the mushroom section is incredible. So many fresh local varieties I&#39;d never seen before. Ended up leaving with a little bottle of truffle oil, which was a nice treat.

Standard Spoons, but the rooftop garden is a real bonus. Sat up there for a couple of hours with a burger and a pint. It&#39;s a bit of a sun trap, really pleasant spot to unwind.

Always spotless when I pop in. The whole place just feels clean and looked after, which makes a big difference when you&#39;re just sitting with a coffee.

The restaurant was very busy when we arrived for our booking and so we had to wait around 15 minutes for our table.  There was plenty of variety at the carvery with several meats and lots of vegetables. The food was delicious and the service was friendly.

The carvery&#39;s a good deal with the Blue Light Card. The dining area feels spacious and relaxed, which was nice.

The hot chocolate with real flakes was a treat. Their barista coffee is solid, but the chocolate drink stole the show for me.

Get there early if you want the creels! They were already gone by 11am when my friend and I tried to grab some. The pastries looked amazing too, but we missed out. A good spot for a morning catch-up, just plan ahead.

The staff were really friendly and helpful when I had questions about the menu. They took the time to explain the dishes, which made choosing much easier. The food was good quality for the price.

Cosy little French spot, ideal for a relaxed dinner. The coq au vin was spot on, and the wine list had a few really interesting Burgundies that paired beautifully. A bit on the quiet side, but that suited us just fine.

Nice bright pub, feels clean. Staff were friendly and cleared tables quickly even when it was busy. That&rsquo;s a plus.

Lovely stay. The room was cosy and well presented, with nice local toiletries. Food is cooked fresh to order, which was great. Staff were welcoming and the dog-friendly policy is a big plus. Just a note that the breakfast service can get a little slow when they&#39;re busy.

Service was prompt and friendly. The beef chili had a good amount of chorizo and meat, flavourful. Decent portion. The view of the bay from the table was a plus. Solid spot for a quick business lunch.

Been coming here for years, and the team&#39;s always so friendly. Even on a packed Saturday, they found us a spot without any fuss. That kind of consistent welcome is what keeps me coming back.

The vegan pasties were incredible, the pastry so flaky and buttery-tasting. Staff were lovely too. Honestly the best I&#39;ve tried.

Been here a few times now. The croissants are spot on, flaky and buttery. Sweet potato hash is solid too, simple but done right. It&rsquo;s the kind of place that just gets the basics.

The paneer dosa was spot on, really fresh. The rava one too, crispy and not greasy. You can tell they put effort into them. A bit on the pricy side, but you get what you pay for.
