The Hour Glass is a charming, historic pub with a cozy atmosphere and friendly bar staff. It's a great spot for a pint and chat, especially on a Saturday lunchtime.

The ale selection is a real treat. Everything arrived piping hot, even through the app. Just a bit pricey for the portions, but the drinks are fairly priced.

Popped in for a full English while passing through. The bacon was spot on, eggs just runny enough. Staff were really friendly, which was a nice start to the day. Solid brekkie.

The English breakfast was spot on. Sausages cooked just right, bacon crisp, and eggs creamy. Gintarė, the manager, was really helpful with our special request.

Really liked the Thai veggie burger here, loads of flavour and the chips were spot on. My friend's lasagne looked good too, nice cheesy top. Service was quick, which was a plus on a busy Friday. Ales were well-kept. Solid pub grub.

Prices are so fair for the harbour views! The grilled fish was spot on, really fresh. Just a bit of a wait for the bill, but honestly, with that setting, I didn't mind too much.

Been coming here for years. Staff are always friendly, they handled our big family group without any fuss. Service is solid, you can rely on it.

Came here for a celebratory lunch with the girls. The sharing platters were spot on for a group – we got a bit of everything, hot and cold. Service was really friendly and attentive, which made the whole vibe just right for a catch-up. Nice to support an independent spot, too.

Stopped in on a ride. Had a flat tire out front. A staff member actually brought my food out to me while I was fixing it. Really appreciated that. Quick and helpful.

The Sunday carvery is a solid deal. You get a good plateful with a few meat choices and all the veg. Gravy was spot on. I went for the beef and it was a decent portion for the price.

The cask ales are the main draw. They had a local bitter that was perfectly kept, not too warm, with a nice malty body and a dry finish. The lager options are decent but it's the real ales that keep me coming back.

Had the Cornish pasty here, it was huge and really tasty. The coffee was decent too. Service was quick, which was perfect because we were catching up with friends and didn't want a long wait. Good spot for a casual bite.

Booked ahead for the Sunday carvery - smart move, it's packed. The wait was short, and the staff were on it. The house red was a solid match for the roast.

Mussels were fantastic, best in ages. Portion was generous, really well done. For the price, you get a lot of food. Solid value.

A real gem of a delicatessen. The garlic chutney is fantastic. Angela on the floor was so helpful, she suggested a lovely Spanish red that worked perfectly with the cured meats I picked out. A bit of a wait at the counter, but worth it for the quality.

Arrived an hour early, no problem food lovely sea bass was fresh and plenty of it. steak cooked to perfection my husband ordered it medium rare and that is how it came. A lot of places he orders medium rare and it comes well done. Nothing too much trouble with the service. Altogether a very pleasurable experience

Really liked how clean and family-friendly this place felt. The team was working hard even when it was packed, service stayed pretty efficient.

The chef made me a special off-menu dish for my dietary needs, and it was honestly so good. The staff were really nice about it too.

Stopped in for the veggie English breakfast. The space is really bright and airy, with big windows. Makes for a nice, relaxed spot to start the day. The breakfast itself was hearty and fresh.

Popped in for a late lunch. The chips were spot on - crispy outside, fluffy inside. Coffee was a proper strong brew. Staff were friendly and quick. Prices felt fair for what you get.

Lovely family-run spot. The sea bass special was a pleasant surprise, and the owners are so friendly.

Came for a late cream tea. The scones were incredibly fresh, which made all the difference.

The cocktails were the real star for me. I tried their signature 'Smoky Negroni' and the balance was spot on - not too bitter, with a really nice herbal finish. Great vibe for a Friday night with mates. 🍸

This pub is a great local spot with friendly staff and a nice selection of beers. I enjoyed my meal and will definitely be returning with friends soon.

Been coming here for years. It's a proper old pub, not one of those fancy tourist spots. Low ceilings, dark wood, feels like it's been here forever. Just off the main drag so it's a bit quieter.

The steak was cooked just right, which was lovely. I also appreciated the comfortable booths - made for a relaxed, no-fuss meal. Prices are fair for what you get.
