A nice, relaxed pub. The staff were friendly and it was good to know they allow outside food. We had a quiet afternoon here, and the comfortable seating made it easy to stay for a while.

Great vibe and the staff are lovely. The house red was a surprisingly good match for the Sunday roast, really hit the spot. 🍷

Always get the cheesy chips here. They’re made fresh when you order, so they come out piping hot. The portion is huge for the price, easily enough for two. I usually end up taking some home.

Always enjoy a carvery, not my 1st here which is why we go back. The food is good, affordable and the grandkids love it. The service was very good , it was busy and the waiting staff coped well. Generally very good

The wood-fired pizza base is incredibly light and tasty, just like some I've had in Italy. The subtle tomato base with Parma ham is spot on.

Lovely evening. The Sunday lunch was spot on, really well executed. Parmesan and truffle fries were a standout. Bar staff were genuinely welcoming, made you feel right at home.

The gluten-free pasties were a nice find. They bake them fresh, you can tell. The crust was actually flaky, which is tricky with gluten-free dough. Tasted pretty good, too.

Coffee's top notch. Got a sandwich to go - fresh and tasty. Perfect for a quick bite by the sea. Service was quick, which is what I needed.

Decent spot for a pint. The food looked pretty good from what I saw at other tables. They're very dog-friendly, which is a nice touch. A solid choice for a casual drink.

Breakfast was included with our stay. The ingredients felt fresh, especially the tomatoes and mushrooms. A nice, healthy start to the day. The view from the pub is lovely, right by the water.

Cosy spot with a real fireplace - perfect for a rainy evening. The ales and ciders are kept really well, which is so nice to see. A solid local pub.

The fish and chips are always spot on. Fresh cod, crispy batter that's never oily. Just a really solid, reliable plate every time.

Handy spot with its own free car park, a real bonus around here. Took the bus there, super easy. The portion sizes were decent for the price, felt like I got my money's worth. Nothing fancy, but it hit the spot.

Lovely local spot! The staff were so friendly and quick, which made it perfect for catching up with friends. We didn't feel rushed at all. The vibe is just right for a relaxed chat over a meal.

Good spot for a game and a pint. The covered outdoor area has plenty of seating, and the weekend crowd is friendly.

The pork belly was cooked just right, crispy skin and tender meat. Burgers are solid too, juicy patties. Prawn tacos at the next table looked amazing, might try those next time. Good spot for a casual bite.

Staff were super helpful when we turned up with a big group and no booking. They shuffled tables around without any fuss, made us feel welcome straight away. Really appreciated that.

Ordered takeaway pizzas and pasta. Ready in 15 minutes, still hot when I picked up. Efficient for a quick meal after work.

Dropped in with the fam. Everyone was happy with their food. The flavours were spot on. Staff were on it, really looked after us. Bright decor shows they care.

Stopped in for a late lunch. The view of the cathedral from the window seats is a real plus. Food was decent, service was prompt. A solid option if you're in the area and want a straightforward meal with a nice backdrop.

Been here a few times. They really know how to handle my nut allergy, which is a huge relief. Food came out fast and tasted spot on.

Been coming here for years, always grab a table outside when the sun's out. The pizza's been consistently good, never had a bad one. Their vegan options are a nice touch, keeps everyone happy. Gets busy though, so you gotta time it right.

Staff were really helpful when I asked about gluten-free options. They didn't make a fuss at all, just sorted it out. Makes a difference when you have to be careful what you eat.

The food is always reliable. I really like their outdoor seating by the river on a nice day. It's just a very comfortable spot to enjoy a meal, the chairs are quite good for a long sit. Service is friendly and makes everything easy.

Super dog-friendly spot! Our pup was over the moon with their special doggy ice cream. 🐶

The staff were incredibly attentive, really made us feel looked after. The space itself is bright and airy, very pleasant. Found a lovely Spanish red on the list that paired beautifully with the grilled octopus. A very solid spot for a relaxed lunch.

Nice, cosy pub with comfy seats. The staff are really friendly, which makes it a relaxing spot for a drink.
