Found this great vegetarian spot by the river. The overnight peanut butter oats were a nice, creative twist for breakfast. The place itself is really bright and airy, with big windows overlooking the water. Just a relaxed spot to start the day.

Been coming here for years. The food is always piping hot and tasty, no matter when you go.

I really liked being able to watch the chefs in the open kitchen. It felt very relaxed. The crispy pork belly was fantastic, and the tofu pad kee mao had a lovely flavour. A very comfortable spot for a quiet meal.

Loved how welcoming they were to our pup! Madeline was so sweet and even brought him a little treat.

Been coming here for years, and the steak is always spot on. Cooked exactly how I like it, every single time. That consistency is what keeps me coming back.

A decent spot for Mexican food. The atmosphere is lively and fun, which I enjoyed. The tacos were pretty good, though the margarita was a bit too sweet for my taste.

The staff were so kind. They actually made us the breakfast item we wanted even though it was a few minutes past the cutoff. Just a really nice gesture that made the morning.

Decent spot. The garden area is small but nice to sit in with the dog. Staff were friendly, no issues there. Portions are big, maybe too big for me honestly. Couldn't finish my plate.

Recently refurbished, and the upstairs dining area is lovely. It’s clean, tidy, and has a really nice atmosphere. A great spot for a quiet meal.

Pizza was spot on, especially the Diavola with hot honey. Crust had that perfect crisp. Just a bit pricey for what it is, but no complaints on the food itself.

Came with a big group of 22. They handled it really well, service was still quick. All the food came out hot and exactly as ordered. No mix-ups, which is impressive for a table that size.

The fish here is so fresh it practically tastes of the sea. They call it "tomorrow's fish today" and you can tell. Simple cooking, just letting the quality shine through.

Stopped in for a road trip lunch. The lunch menu was such a nice surprise—the pasta was really fresh and flavourful. Felt like a proper little find.

The sharing roast for six was fantastic, especially the beef. Plenty of space for a big group, felt really comfortable.

Saxon was a great server. The bottomless brunch is a solid option for groups.

The sharing platter was huge, way more than two people could handle. The lamb chops were particularly good, really well seasoned. We ended up taking half of it home.

The seafood linguine was the thing. Plenty of shrimp and mussels in there, really flavourful sauce. Had to wait a while for it on a busy night, but that's fine.

No reservation, so we waited a bit. Totally fine. The staff were genuinely lovely. But the food... that's the real star. The lamb was cooked just right, and the flavours were spot on. A proper good meal.

The lake and river here are gorgeous, lots of wildlife to watch. Just spent a chilled afternoon by the water, it was really peaceful. A nice escape.

The art deco interior is gorgeous, really sets the mood. Perfect for a relaxed catch-up with friends. We ended up staying for ages just chatting, the vibe is that good.

Been coming here for years, and I still love that they tell you exactly where the fish is from and the farm for the potatoes. It’s that kind of detail that keeps me coming back. Just feels honest.

The staff here are so friendly and chatty, it really does feel like dropping by a mate's place for dinner. The cosy vibe is spot on for a chilled-out meal. Just a heads up, it got a bit loud when it filled up later on, but that's part of the charm, I guess!

Love the spot by the river. Had the Sunday roast last weekend - the beef was so tender and the Yorkshire pudding was spot on. A proper cosy pub vibe inside, perfect for a grey day.
