The staff were so friendly, it really made the evening. The coq au vin was lovely and the price was fair. My only note is that the chairs were a bit hard for a long dinner.

Friendly staff, got our table fast. The pizza was solid - nice crust, plenty of toppings. A good spot we stumbled upon.

Tasty, but the portion was a bit small for the price.

I really liked the atmosphere here. It's cozy and nicely decorated, perfect for a relaxed meal. The window seats are great for people-watching. A comfortable spot for a quiet dinner.

A bit of a walk from the beach, but perfect for a quick bite with friends. Service was on point!

Nice terrace spot. The food looks great on the plate, and the staff were quick. But for what you pay, the portions are a bit small. I left still feeling a little hungry.

We stopped off in Dieppe for lunch on the way back to Calais from Normandy and picked Le Palmier based on the positive reviews - they are all true - not fancy but a warm and cheerful restaurant with lovely good value food and excellent friendly service - we had 3 tagines (vegetarian. Marakesh (meatballs, peas & egg) and Chicken and Prunes and Almonds) and one Coscous Royal (Coscous with a side plate of mixed grilled meat) - all were great - portion sizes are generous too - one tagine, a salad and fries would feed 2 for lunch - special mention for the lovely waitress who served us - strongly recommended

Stopped in for a drink and ended up staying for dinner. The menu had some interesting stuff, went with the grilled octopus. Live music was a nice surprise, made the evening chill. Staff was cool about letting me linger.

Had dinner on the terrace overlooking the harbor. The view was lovely, but honestly, the portions felt a bit small for the price. My main course was gone in a few bites.

Always a line at this tiny bakery, but the bread is so good. Perfect for grabbing a fresh loaf before meeting friends.

Very lovely little restaurant and lunch. Will return. Nice atmosphere and service. Lots of options to choose from. Easy to find on the high street.

Really liked the cold buffet starter here! It was fresh and had a nice variety. The desserts looked great too. Service was friendly and quick, which is perfect when you're catching up with friends. Prices felt very fair for what you get.

Stopped in for a coffee while walking. The place is really nicely decorated, cozy and stylish. Service was friendly and quick. A pleasant little spot for a quick break.

The sole meunière was spot on, flaky and rich. The oysters were a nice, briny start. I was pleased to find a crisp Sancerre on the list that paired beautifully with both. A solid choice for a quiet dinner.

This place is a gem for crêpes. The galette I had was packed with ham and cheese, and you can tell it's all made fresh. Menu's huge, took me a while to choose!

Perfect for a quick lunch. The menu is straightforward, good variety. They have a few tables outside. Staff was patient with my French. Food came out fast, which I appreciate.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming. They really made us feel at ease the moment we walked in.

Been coming here for years, and the mussels in maroilles sauce are always spot-on. Just the right amount of creaminess.

Stopped by for a late lunch. The mussels in blue cheese sauce were the highlight for me, really rich and creamy. Beef was good too. Service was friendly and quick.

The view here at sunset is something else. We grabbed a cocktail and a cheese platter, just sat and watched the sea and the cliffs turn all golden. Perfect spot for a relaxed drink.

Walked in on a busy Saturday without a reservation. They found us a table pretty quickly. Service was friendly and kept things moving, which was nice when the place was packed.

A decent Italian spot in a small French town, always busy with locals. The atmosphere is pretty lively. The pasta was fine, though a bit pricey for the portion. Got there early, which was a good idea.

Family-friendly. Kids menu was a lifesaver. My little one actually ate the pasta. Service was patient with the mess.
