Menu’s in English, daily specials too. That helped a lot. Food was solid, staff actually explained things properly. Not the usual pointing-and-hoping. Would come back for sure.

Solid lunch for €10.50 - soup, salad, and spaghetti bolognese. Place was nearly empty before closing but service stayed friendly. Fine if you're hungry and nearby.

Came for the view, stayed for the food. Fresh ingredients, well-executed dishes. Prices a bit high but fair for what you get. Book ahead for a waterside table.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Got the porcini pasta. Solid, nothing fancy, but hit the spot. Place is small and family-run, you can tell. Service was fast enough for a lunch break. Prices are fair for the portion. Would go back if I'm in the area and need a quick bite.

Third time eating here, tried six dishes across the visits. The pork knuckle was crispy, the sauerkraut had the right tang. Portions are generous—I couldn't finish mine, took half home. For what you get, the price is fair. Service was fine, nothing special but no complaints. Just wish they had more seating, got a bit cramped on Saturday evening.

Simple Italian spot that hits the spot without breaking the bank. Casual vibe, perfect for catching up with friends over pasta. Nothing fancy, but you leave happy. 🍝

The green curry stood out—creamy, fragrant, just the right kick. Pad thai was solid too. Place has a cozy family-run vibe.

Decent spot for a quick bite. Menu’s got a good split between sweet and savory, maybe a third vegetarian. We ordered a few things—all fresh, no complaints. Coffee worked well alongside. Nothing fancy, but it does the job. I’d come back if I’m in the area and need something reliable.

Been coming here for a while now. The terrace is still the main reason I keep showing up—good view of the main street, perfect for a quick drink. We only grabbed a bite this time, nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. Service was fine, no complaints. Solid spot if you're nearby.

Came here with a couple of friends on a random weekday evening. The homemade style of cooking really comes through in the flavors, and the price felt fair for what we got. Service was friendly too, not pushy at all. Only thing is it got a bit busy later, but we still had a good time chatting and eating. 😊

The food was fresh and tasty, prices fair for what you get. Cozy spot, staff were efficient and friendly. Solid choice for a casual meal.

The döner here is solid, and that sauce they use is really good. Portion size was decent for the price, which is honestly the main thing I care about. Staff were helpful too, not just standing around. I’d grab this again if I’m in the area and hungry.

Risotto ai porcini was solid, piccata Milanese cooked right. Owner threw in a couple of appetizers on the house. Fair price for what you get.

The Black Forest cake was spot on — real cherry brandy, proper thick cream. Sat outside on the terrace with it, sunny day made it even better.

Came with ten people for a birthday. Food was hot and arrived all at once, which never happens with big groups. Portions are huge, took half my plate home. Solid Swabian spot.

The schnitzel with fries is still my go-to here. Fish was more like small nuggets, but everything's fried and tasty. Good spot to sit down and eat.

The beef liver with fried potatoes really hit the spot. Liver was cooked just right, not dry at all. Käsespätzle was solid too, though I wish there was a bit more cheese on top. Service was quick, which I appreciated. Good spot if you're in Schönwald and want something hearty.

Small spot, gets warm and cramped when it's full. Front rows are all decent though, so no bad seats. Just don't expect much elbow room.

Stopped by without a reservation, left impressed. Chestnut soup and venison were spot on. Staff even made off-menu schnitzel for the kids. Solid spot.

The roast beef with onions and spaetzle was incredibly tender — that alone made the visit worth it. Service felt warm and genuine. Prices are a bit steep, but for the quality I can't complain.

Came here on a friend's tip and the cocktails were solid. Service was friendly and the seats were comfortable enough to stay for another round.

Came for the goat view, stayed for the food. Simple dishes but done right, and the staff were lovely. Bit of a drive to get here, but the hearty meal made it worth it.

Lovely little place, a bit tucked away. Had the regional dishes and really liked how fresh everything tasted. Service was professional without being too stiff. Only wish the portions were a bit bigger.

Tried this place for the first time — food was solid and the staff genuinely friendly. Right by the city center, so super easy to find. Would come back if I'm in the area again.
