Nice place for a quiet lunch when the kids are off. They handle my gluten-free request without any fuss.

Been to China a few times, and this place nails those flavours. The mapo tofu had that proper numbing kick. A decent Tsingtao beer alongside cut through the richness nicely. Portions are generous, too.

Been coming here for years, and I really appreciate that they've kept a solid gluten-free menu. It's not just a token item or two. The free chips with sandwiches at lunch are a nice little bonus that keeps me coming back.

The Sunday roast is a proper treat, the ox cheek in the Yorkshire pudding just melts. It's a rich, hearty plate for a lazy weekend. The whole place has that relaxed, cosy pub feel, which is exactly what you want.

food was excellent and very well presented. the staff were lovely; I recently had a knee replacement and Emily noticed I was uncomfortable after about 45 minutes and gave me a spare chair to help me rest my leg up, and it's little things like that that will mean I will be going again

The Oreo milkshake is solid, not too much whipped cream. Good price compared to other places nearby.
