The food's actually really good for what you pay. Fresh ingredients, you can tell they put care into it. Prices are fair.

They were so nice to serve us breakfast even after hours! The chef made a lovely meal and the tea was perfect. Great for a relaxed catch-up with friends.

A local tipped us off about this pub. The ham, egg and chips were spot on, and the scampi was lovely too. Food came out hot and quick. Staff were dead friendly. That window seat made for a proper nice lunch.

Went on a Saturday night. The amuse-bouche was a nice touch. The Pinot Grigio was good, but the portion for the price felt a bit off.

Butterfly chicken platter. Food came out crazy fast, like a fast food joint. Good selection of sauces to pick your heat.

The on-site microbrewery is a cool feature. Had a nice pint of their real ale in the outdoor area.

They were so friendly from the moment we walked in. It just felt nice, you know? That kind of welcome really makes a difference.

Decent fish and chips, nothing fancy. The real draw is the outside seating with a full view of the beach. Perfect for a quick lunch between meetings. Service was prompt, which I appreciate.

Ordered online for pickup, which came with a 10% discount. The chicken had an interesting spiced flavor, not quite what I expected.

The oat milk latte was good, strong but smooth. Paired it with a lemon cannoli, which was fresh and not too sweet. A solid choice if you want to avoid the chain next door. Slightly pricier though.

Been coming here for years. It's the consistency I appreciate - the fish pie is always spot on, never a letdown. Just a reliable, good meal in a cosy spot.

A large takeaway order from here recently. Everything arrived fresh and piping hot, which is a real plus for fish and chips. The staff were very accommodating with our group. A solid choice in Swanage.

Been coming here for years. The staff always remember my usual order, and they’re just really nice people. Makes it feel like a proper local spot.

Service was spot on. Daisy and Dot were really friendly, knew the menu well, and everything came out quickly. Made for a nice, easy lunch.

Came for a birthday dinner and the staff brought out a little cake with a candle. It was a really nice touch, made the evening feel a bit more festive. The pasta I had was decent, but that surprise was the highlight for me.

The food's definitely stepped up. Had the lamb shank, it was fall-off-the-bone tender and the jus was rich without being too salty. The place was packed, but the kitchen kept up.

The weekend brunch menu is a real highlight. I had the avocado and eggs, which was beautifully presented. The staff were very friendly and attentive, which made for a really comfortable, relaxed meal.

Stumbled upon this spot on holiday. The menu felt like home cooking, and the desserts were spot on. Prices are fair. Staff were really friendly and helpful, no wonder it's so popular with locals.

The bubble and squeak was spot on. You can tell the sausages are good quality. It's just nice to see the classics done right.

Stumbled upon this bakery during a walk. The caramel slice was lovely, you can tell they use good ingredients. It's on the pricier side, but the chairs were comfy and the staff were really pleasant. A nice, quiet spot for a treat.

Love the vibe here! Perfect for catching up with friends. The waffle cones are so crisp, and they have loads of vegan options which is fab. Portions are huge, so you can definitely share. Staff were really sweet too.

Free WiFi is a nice touch, makes it easy to check emails while you wait for your food. Not many places around here bother with it anymore.

The staff were so friendly and helpful with my dietary request. The owner even came over to say hello, which was a really nice touch. It made the whole meal feel relaxed and easy.
