The new owners have done a nice job here. It feels brighter and cleaner now, which is a big plus. The staff were really friendly when I popped in for a quick lunch. Prices are fair too.

Decent cheesecake but the jerk chicken and ribs were a letdown. The Thursday freebie is a nice touch though.

The bread basket was a standout, easily the best I've found locally. Worth the visit for that alone.

Great food, and staff, big mention to Adrian and John both of whom were very helpful and attentive. All meals were beautifully presented and great quality. Well worth a visit.

The Zinger sandwich is my new favourite. The chicken was so crispy on the outside and stayed really juicy inside. A server saw me looking at the menu and suggested it – glad I listened!

Been coming here for years, and the vegan menu is a solid move. Keeps things consistent for my partner. The vegan pizza tonight was spot on, same as last time.

The steak and ale pie. The pastry is crisp all the way through, no sogginess. The filling is generous, good chunks of meat in a rich gravy. Had it with the mash, which was fine, but the pie itself is the main event. A proper, filling meal.

Every visit to Miller and Carter has been a great experience. The service from Fifi and the quality of the wagyu steak cooked by TC were exceptional, making it a place I look forward to returning to.

Nice walk along the stream. The view from the top is the best part. Some sections are quite steep and the path is a bit rocky, so wear proper shoes. Good for a local stroll.

The beer garden is a gem! So much space, comfy benches, and they even have a screen for the match. Just right for a summer night.

Not a food pub, but their pork pies are spot on. The beer garden is huge and mostly covered, which saved us when it started drizzling. A solid choice for a pie and a pint.

The set menu is excellent quality. We'v e been before and the food is always high quality & very tasty. Staff are friendly & efficient too

The staff were really friendly and professional. The sea theme decor is pleasant, not overdone. It's a clean, comfortable spot. The food was decent, though the main course arrived a little later than expected.

Good for a quick bite. Self-service machines speed things up, though I miss the occasional chat.

The staff are so warm and passionate. You can really tell they care about their ingredients. I love that they know the source of everything, especially the fresh berries in the pastries. It makes such a difference. A lovely spot for a mindful treat.

Came for a Sunday lunch. Danika was lovely, really attentive and even arranged a little birthday dessert which was a nice touch. My steak, cooked by Andrea, was spot on medium. The starters and sides were all good.

The staff were lovely, they even brought out a birthday cake with proper cutlery without us having to ask.

Service was spot on. The manager personally handled my gluten-free request, very attentive. Staff are knowledgeable and efficient. Good to see a place that takes dietary needs seriously.

Birthday dinner with friends was so much fun. The staff were really friendly and made sure we had a great time.

Food was really good, especially the steak. Jimmy on the floor was lovely, remembered our drinks from last time. It is on the pricier side, but the quality's there.

The lasagne special today was so comforting. Staff were lovely and chatty, which made the whole thing feel really warm. Much cosier vibe than that other spot down the road.
