Came here for breakfast two days straight. The bacon was nicely done, and the sausages had a good snap to them. Eggs, black pudding, the lot – all spot on. Even grabbed a couple of cakes to go, which were lovely. Staff were really friendly.

Popped in for a coffee and cake. The space is really original, filled with all this 'Last of the Summer Wine' memorabilia. Gave it a unique character you don't see often.

The rhubarb crumble was a lovely, old-fashioned dessert. The seats were just a bit too firm for a long, relaxed meal.

Lovely spot in Hartington. The outdoor seating is perfect for a sunny afternoon. I had the scones with clotted cream, and they paired nicely with a pot of their house blend tea. The tea selection could be a bit more adventurous, but it was a pleasant, quiet break.

Been coming here for years. The team is always so good with our kids, makes a big difference.

Henk and Clare are lovely hosts. The scones are a decent size and come with plenty of jam and clotted cream. For the price, you get a proper afternoon tea feel without it costing a fortune. Good spot for a cuppa.

The scones were the star. Fresh out of the oven, warm and crumbly, with a perfect balance of dense and light. The clotted cream was rich, and the strawberry jam had real fruit pieces. A classic done right.

The staff were so helpful with my dietary needs. I asked about dairy-free options and they checked everything thoroughly, even suggesting a couple of modifications. It felt really considerate and took the stress out of ordering.

Just tried their 6th anniversary chakai. The 7 courses with matching drinks were so detailed. Never had a meal that felt this personal before. The little take-home gift was a lovely touch.

Love the vibe here - quirky, cosy and a bit eclectic. Feels like a friend's living room. Had the mushroom risotto, it was solid. A bit on the pricey side for the portion, but the atmosphere makes up for it. Would pop in again for a relaxed evening.

Popped in for breakfast. The eggs were just right, not too runny. Felt like someone’s mum was cooking. A bit of a wait, but worth it for that homely vibe.
