First time trying the steak pie here, and it was a proper comfort meal. The pastry was so flaky and buttery, and the filling was just right. Really hit the spot on a grey afternoon.

Been coming here for years, and as a coeliac, I always ask about the fryers. They double-check every time, even remade my chips once when I wasn't sure. It's that consistency that keeps me coming back.

Solid spot. The burger was cooked just right, juicy and not overdone. Drinks were well made, service was attentive without hovering. A bit pricey for what it is, but you can tell they care about the details.

Popped in for a quick lunch. The fish and chips were spot on – crispy batter, fresh cod. Staff were friendly, and they didn't mind our dog at all. Decent portion for the price.

First time here. The menu had a lot of choice, which was nice. Everything we tried was pretty good.

Been coming here for years, and their vegan options are always spot on. Had the lentil soup and a cherry scone again last week - just as good as I remember. It's nice to have a place you can rely on.

We were a large group of 11 and they managed to fit us in. The waitress was really lovely with the kids. Food was decent and reasonably priced. A solid choice for a casual meal.

The food was really good, and the staff were so friendly. Made for a relaxed evening out.

Proper cosy Scottish pub. Staff were dead friendly, had a good chat. Felt right at home.

Menu has loads of choice, even some stuff I've never seen before. Went for the veggie platter - really solid. Portions are decent for the price.

Great spot for a quick evening bite. Live band was a nice touch, really adds to the relaxed vibe. The outdoor seating is perfect for this. Food came out fast, which is a big plus for me.

Service was great, they swapped the cream sauce for tomato for my allergy without any fuss. The portion was decent for the price, felt like a fair deal.

Popped in for a quick lunch. The vibe was really relaxed, staff were friendly without hovering. Had the chicken sandwich and a coffee, hit the spot and didn't break the bank.

Loved the chicken pakora starter! The curries were really flavourful too, and the whole meal was very reasonably priced.

Food was nice. I knocked over my chips and Rachel sorted it out straight away. No fuss, just got on with it. Good service.

The three-person set menu was such good value! Huge portions, and everything tasted great. The staff were really friendly too, which made it a perfect spot for a catch-up with my mates.

This little bakery is my go-to for a catch-up with friends. The pain au raisin is packed with fruit, and the coffee is just right for a long chat. It's a bit small inside, so getting a table can be tricky.

Been coming here for years. Their pancake stack is consistently spot on, just like I remember from my trips to the States.

Lovely staff, very welcoming. The fruit cake was nice, but the banana loaf was a bit dry. I did appreciate the small wine list they had - a decent glass of red went nicely with the cake.

The roast beef was so tender, and the veg looked lovely on the plate.
