The khachapuri was lovely and fresh, and the portions are definitely generous. I really appreciated how comfortable the seating was - we didn't feel rushed at all, which made for a relaxed lunch.

The Biscoff French toast was spot on, not too sweet. Paired nicely with a black coffee to cut through the richness.

The carvery here is fantastic, with a great selection of meats and vegetables. The staff, especially Chelsea, provided excellent service and made our visit enjoyable.

I loved the friendly service at Oink! The staff were helpful and made great recommendations for toppings to pair with the pork.

I loved the Wee taste of Scotland taster menu! It exceeded my expectations and introduced me to new flavors. The staff made our celebration special, and I can't wait to return for another amazing meal.

The tortilla and boquerones were spot on. My only quibble is the wine list, a bit limited for a tapas place. The Rioja I had was fine, but I'd love more options by the glass to pair with different dishes.

The server noticed my dish wasn't quite right and swapped it out so quickly, with a genuine smile. That kind of care really stood out.

Cannonball is a fantastic restaurant with a warm atmosphere and friendly staff. The haggis balls and venison are must-tries!

The owner was so nice, he even made my dish extra spicy when I asked. Really appreciated that.

The Neapolitan pizza was spot on. What really stood out for me was the freshness of the ingredients. The tomato sauce tasted so bright and vibrant, you could tell it was made with really ripe tomatoes. The dough had a lovely, airy chew to it. Just a really clean, simple meal.

The doner kebab is the thing here. The meat is always juicy, never dry, and the seasoning is just right. It's consistently good every time I order.

Lovely little spot. The menu changes every few weeks, so there's always something new to try. Had a really nice sea bass dish last time, perfectly cooked. Keeps me coming back!

Austin and Miguel gave solid wine and food tips. Made the evening easy.

The Croque Madame was spot on, and the staff kept their cool (and good humour) during our big group breakfast. A nice glass of crisp white would have been the perfect pairing.

Stumbled in by chance. The Pizza Stella was just right, the crust had that perfect chewy pull. The whole vibe was so relaxed, didn’t feel rushed at all. A nice little surprise.

The broth in their pho is so clean and light, not greasy at all. That little fried dough stick on the side was a perfect touch.

Nice spot for a quick bite. The modern, relaxed vibe is spot on. Had a simple breakfast there, and it was exactly what I needed. Service was quick, which is key for me.

The staff are always so friendly. Last time they’d run out of the duck, and the chef called our table to suggest a wine-braised lamb as a substitute, no extra charge. That kind of thoughtful service is rare.

A lovely spot for brunch. I really appreciated the gluten-free options. The poached eggs three ways were fresh and well-prepared, the eggs tasted like they were from a good source. The coffee was a highlight, robust and smooth. Staff were friendly and genuine.

Stumbled in for a quick bite. The birria and carne asada tacos were legit. Fresh corn tortillas made all the difference. Felt like a proper taste of Mexico right here in Edinburgh.

The Montreal cheesesteak was tasty, and the wings were solid. But what really stood out was the space itself—high ceilings, lots of natural light, and those comfy booths. It just felt like a really nice, relaxed place to eat.

The pork ragu was fantastic, but the real draw is the daily changing menu. Keeps things interesting.

The sharing roast board has a good variety of meats and all the trimmings. Very generous portion.

I had an incredible experience at Heron! The attention to detail in both the food and service is remarkable. Every course was a highlight, and I can't wait to return for another tasting menu.

The staff were so nice about our luggage - we had a couple of bags with us and they just offered to keep them behind the counter without us even asking. Really appreciated that, made the lunch feel relaxed.

The staff really know their wines. They suggested a red to go with the steak and it was spot on. Food was good too, flavours worked well together. A solid local spot.

Great spot for a date or a nice night out with friends. The vibe is fancy but still relaxed, which I really liked.

A handy find right by our hotel. The walk to Princess Street was actually quite nice, not too far at all. Made popping out for a bite super easy.

Tried the tamarind and coconut ribs on my first visit. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, and the sauce had a nice balance of sweet and tangy. The coconut flavour was subtle but came through. A solid dish.

The Neapolitan pizza was a real find. That crust - so light and airy, but with this satisfying crisp underneath. The balance of cheese to toppings felt just right, nothing overpowering. Really enjoyed it.
