Lovely old-school pub, feels very Scottish. The Balmoral Chicken was spot on, really tasty. But the portion was a bit on the small side for the price, to be honest. Left me wanting just a little more.

Popped in for a quick lunch with a mate. The Thai soup was really warming and the panini was spot on. We ended up staying ages just chatting over decaf tea. It's that kind of relaxed place where you don't feel rushed out.

Dropped by late on a Monday. The duck and dumplings were really good, and they came out super quick.

Came for the Masu Bhat Tarkari Thali and it was spot on. The curry had so much flavour and the spice level was just right for me. Really enjoyed that.

The Guinness was spot on, honestly the best pint we had on the trip. The place itself is nice and relaxed, good for families. Just a heads up though, it's not the cheapest spot for a pint.

Came for a quiet pint. The place is warm and the staff are really nice, made me feel comfortable straight away. Good spot to unwind after a long day. Prices are fair for the area, didn't feel like I was overpaying for a drink.

Been here for breakfast a couple of times now. The Lorne sausage roll is spot on, really hits the spot. Fresh orange juice is good too. Decent way to start the day.

Great spot for a quick pint. The beer selection is solid, and service is fast. Cozy pub vibe.

Great coffee, and the staff suggested a nice wine to go with it. Cozy spot, a bit pricier than the chains but worth it for the quality.

Had the haggis, neeps and tatties. Solid version, one of the better ones I've had. Partner's whisky flight was a good selection. Reliable spot for straightforward Scottish food.

Lovely spot for a quiet catch-up. The lighting is so soft and the booths are super comfy - we ended up staying for hours just chatting. Perfect for a relaxed evening with friends.

Had a decent lunch at the pub downstairs. The atmosphere was pretty cool and relaxed. Staff were friendly, service was fine. A solid spot for something casual.

The bar staff were really friendly and quick, always with a smile. It made a difference on a busy Friday night when we were just grabbing a quick drink. Good service like that is a nice bonus.

The room was spotless and had everything we needed for two people. Plenty of towels, toiletries, and the bed was comfortable. It was a good base for exploring the area.

This pub is a must-visit for anyone who enjoys a good drink in a cozy setting. The friendly vibe and great beer selection make it stand out!

Stopped in after a long walk, got a table right away. The haggis with neeps and tatties was solid comfort food, really hit the spot. Quick service, perfect for a hungry lunch. The woody vibe is nice.

Stumbled in while waiting for the bus, ended up staying for quiz night. The staff were attentive without being overbearing, which is appreciated. Solid spot for a straightforward pub evening.

The butter masala dosa was huge, easily enough for two. The sambhar was so flavourful and warming. Ended the meal with a free kheer, which was a nice surprise. For the price, you really get a lot of food.

Been coming here for years, and the gluten-free menu is why. They've got dedicated fryers, so I can actually order the fish and chips without worrying. It's a proper pub meal, not some afterthought. That consistency keeps me coming back.

Grabbed the lamb curry with rice on my lunch break. Really flavourful, and the portion was huge for the price. Perfect when you're in a rush.

Decent burger and fries for the price, away from the tourist crowds.

Been coming here for years and it's still so reliable. The tandoori chicken is always juicy, and the naan is just as good as I remember. A proper neighbourhood spot.

Ordered via the QR code while sitting outside. The staff were helpful and the food came out quickly. It was a pleasant lunch, though the outdoor seating area was a bit cramped.

The burgers are huge, and they've got solid chicken and veggie options too. What I really liked was how chill they were about my friend's nut allergy – made it easy for our whole group to relax and enjoy.

Just popped in on a whim. The American theme was fun, and the staff were really nice. My partner’s wine was a hit. Food was solid. Might swing by again if I’m in the area.

The Nduja here is seriously spicy, so go easy on it. The daily specials are decent though, always something fresh.

The bartender knew his stuff. I was a bit lost with the whisky menu, but he asked what I usually like and picked out a couple for me to taste. The £5 special was a nice surprise - a good way to dip your toe in.

Disappointing hotel breakfast led me here. Haggis toastie was good, staff were friendly. Convenient location for a quick bite.

Popped in for a quick bite. The fish and chips were solid, classic pub fare. But that sticky toffee pudding… wow. Warm, rich, and not too sweet. The vibe here is just right for a casual evening.

Came for the pasta, stayed for the pizza. The margherita was spot on—thin, crispy crust with just the right amount of char on the edges. A proper Neapolitan vibe. The pasta dishes looked great too, but honestly, I was too focused on my slice.
