The Tom Kaa soup was spot on — easily the best I’ve had outside Thailand. Curries had proper depth of flavour too. Place was pretty relaxed, no fuss.

The fish was spot on tonight, really fresh and the batter had that proper crunch. Chips were done just right too, not soggy at all. I've been coming here for years and it never lets me down. Place was a bit busy but that's a good sign, right?

Lovely old building with stone walls and high ceilings — loads of character. Food was grand, service a bit all over the place but friendly enough. Decent spot if you're passing off the motorway.

Came here on a tip from a mate who lives nearby. Seafood chowder was proper creamy, plenty of fish in it. Steak came out cooked exactly as I asked. Staff were grand, even with the place packed for lunch. Menu's big enough you'll find something. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.

Cool spot with a proper urban feel. Been a few times now and the food holds up. Nice having the outdoor bit out back too. Good wine list to work through.

Coffee was decent and the gluten-free stuff actually tasted fresh. Staff didn't hover, just left us to it. Fine for a quick bite.

Seafood chowder was spot on. Loads of fresh fish, proper hot, and the brown soda bread was class. Cozy enough spot for lunch.

Lunch set was around €18 and the food came out properly hot. Had the chicken burger, decent bun, meat was juicy. Chips were fine, nothing crazy but done right. For that price in the city centre, it does the job. Wouldn't say no to going back.

Stopped in for dinner with the family last week. Portions are proper generous, no complaints there. I had the burger and it was cooked well, juicy enough. Staff were grand, very friendly. Place has a decent buzz about it, nothing fancy but comfortable. Only thing, it got a bit noisy when it filled up, but sure that's expected. Solid feed for the price.

Had our anniversary dinner here last month. Staff sorted a little cake with a candle for the missus without us even asking. Food was solid, nothing fancy but done right. Place is grand for kids too.

Came in before the lunch rush and got seated straight away. Ramen was proper good—broth had that deep flavour you don't always get. Noodles had a nice bite to them too. Staff were still sorting things out when I arrived but once I ordered, it came quick. Might've been the best bowl I've had in a while.

Stopped in for a quick bite and grabbed the sausage roll with relish. Proper flaky pastry, really savoury filling. Coffee was decent as well. Place was busy but I got my order fast enough. Fine if you're in the area and need something easy.

Tried the pizza and a toasted sandwich—both were decent, though the pizza could've had more topping for the price. Cozy spot, but I'd only come back for the sandwiches.
