Came for the seafood. The cod was fresh, cooked just right. Prices fair for the location, about 30 euros with a drink. Group of eight, everyone cleaned their plates. That's all I need.

We came here for a family thing and honestly the service was the highlight. Attentive without hovering, which I always appreciate. Food was solid too, especially the starters. Just felt a bit pricey for what you get, but for a celebration it worked fine. Wouldn’t mind going back for a casual dinner though.

A livelyrestaurant in an old and characterful building and with a busy, friendly atmosphere. Excellent service, delicious uncomplicated food and wine and charming hosts, obviously very popular with locals, a real find.

The owner picks fresh mint from their own garden for the mojitos. You can really taste the difference in the freshness of the ingredients. It's a lovely spot for a drink, though service did slow down a bit during the busy Music Day event.

The welcome sign on our table was a nice touch. Hot chocolate hit the spot, but the waffles were a bit dry and bland. Would've loved a better drink pairing option with them. Maybe next time.

The desserts here are incredible. We had the sticky toffee pudding and it was just the right amount of sweet, not too heavy. The whole place has that cozy, authentic village pub feel which makes you want to stay a while.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and honestly, it hit the spot. Staff were friendly, didn't rush us at all. Had the daily special, portion was decent for the price. Place is basic, nothing fancy, but you're not paying for that. Solid choice if you're in the area and want something easy. Maybe a bit warm inside, but fine.

Loved that they had proper lactose-free options, not just one sad salad. Tapas were tasty and the staff actually knew what was in everything.

The pizza was solid—nice crispy crust, toppings fresh. Came out fast too. Honestly I was a bit worried after reading some reviews, but my experience was totally fine. Servers were chill and friendly. Maybe I just got lucky, but I'd eat here again if I'm in the area.

The cheese plate was the highlight for sure. Tried a few wines and the guy actually knew what he was talking about, explained them without being pretentious. Music was decent too, not too loud to talk over. Place had a nice buzz to it. Wouldn't mind going back sometime.

Been here a few times now and it stays pretty consistent. The flavors keep surprising me in a good way. Hosts actually remember you, which makes the whole place feel welcoming.

Nice spot for a quiet dinner. The staff didn't hover, just checked in when needed. Had the grilled fish, cooked right, not dry. Place wasn't too loud either, which I appreciate. We'll probably come back sometime. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.

Just a few doors down from Thiriez. The daily special was sliced chicken with tarragon – so simple but full of flavor, really hit the spot. The rum baba was a perfect little finish. Felt like a cozy home-cooked meal, and the bill was a nice surprise.

The shrimp croquettes were the highlight for me—crispy outside, really creamy inside. Fries were solid too, exactly what you want after walking around Nieuwpoort-Stad. Ordering with the beeper thing felt a bit impersonal but it kept things moving fast. Wouldn't mind going back just for those croquettes again.

Went for the 9-course dinner. Pacing was spot on—never felt rushed or waiting too long between plates. Staff let us breathe between courses, which I appreciated. Solid choice if you've got time to just sit back and enjoy the evening. Nothing fancy, just a well-run kitchen.

Been coming here for years and the fries still hit the same spot. Crispy outside, soft inside, just how I like them. Owners always greet you with a smile, even when it's packed. Yeah, you might wait a bit during rush, but honestly, it's part of the charm.
