The mezze selection here is pretty good, not your usual cafe stuff. Two small plates each was just right for a light lunch. The hummus was decent, though the pita could have been a bit warmer.

Chicken burger was solid, fries were crisp. Stuart's service was efficient and he checked in at the right times. Good for a quick business lunch near the office.

The staff were so lovely and attentive. I had a question about the ingredients in the salad dressing, and they checked with the kitchen right away. Really appreciated how they handled it.

The turkey, brie, and cranberry toastie. The bread was perfectly crisp, holding a generous layer of melted brie. The cranberry cut through the richness just right. That's what I came for.

Been coming here for years, and the view never gets old. Had the fish and chips again last night, decent portion. Staff are always on it, noticed my glass was empty and sorted it straight away. A solid local spot.

Been coming here for years, and the waffles are still the main reason. They're always fresh, never soggy. It's that consistency I keep coming back for. The place itself is bright and airy, tucked just off the promenade. A solid spot for a weekend breakfast.

The curries were really generous. We had leftovers from just two dishes, which was a nice surprise. They packed it up for us, so I had lunch sorted for the next day. The ingredients tasted fresh, which I always appreciate.

As someone who watches what I eat, I really appreciate their dedicated gluten-free fryer. The fish batter was incredibly crispy, and it didn't feel heavy or oily at all. The curry sauce was a nice touch too.

Decent spot for remote work. Good WiFi, plenty of seating, and they're fine with you staying a while over a coffee.

Nice to see a solid selection of vegan options on the menu. We asked for a custom pizza, no cheese, extra veggies, and they sorted it out without any fuss. Tasted fresh and the crust had a good chew to it.

The vegan breakfast menu is huge, lots of choice. I tried the meat substitute option and it was really good.

First time trying the cauliflower steak here. It was actually really filling, and I liked that they had a few veggie options. The salad was nice too.

Vibrant spot, but it does get packed. We were tucked in a corner table, which was fine, but the energy from the main room was a bit much for a quiet chat. The buzz is fun if you're up for it.

Managed to snag a table for lunch after coffee. The garlic bread was so good we ordered a second round! Staff were lovely.

The fish and chips portion was huge, which was a nice surprise. The fish was fresh and cooked well, with a decent batter. It's a solid choice for a casual meal, though the chips were just okay.

Been working my way through the menu here. The grilled octopus starter is a standout. Paired it with a crisp Albariño from their list, which cut through the richness perfectly. The vibe is cosy, just right for a relaxed dinner.

A lovely Christmas dinner with friends. I really appreciated how fresh the ingredients were in the roast turkey and sides. The vegetables had a nice crunch to them, which is so important. A very pleasant, wholesome meal.

Lovely spot to stop after a walk in the Mendip Hills. The local beer selection was a nice find.

The crab on sourdough was generous, with both white and brown meat. The pork terrine was nicely balanced too.

Great spot near the castle. The staff really knew their stuff, took time to walk us through the drinks. Grilled cheese with a wine slushy was just right. A bit pricey, but a nice treat.

The mixed grill was huge! We shared it and still had leftovers. Great for two.

The crab sandwiches were lovely, really fresh and generous with the filling. The staff were so friendly and attentive, which made for a very relaxed lunch. Just a shame the seats are a bit hard for a longer sit-down.

Love that they have vegan choices! The jackfruit tacos were a nice surprise, really flavourful. My pup was welcome too, which made for a relaxed lunch. Cosy little place.

Cozy spot, dim lighting is nice. Went on a Friday, it was packed - had to wait a bit. The mushroom risotto was spot on, creamy and flavourful. Good for a relaxed dinner.
