Lovely spot for coffee and cake after a lakeside walk. The atmosphere is very cozy. I appreciated that the cake wasn't overly sweet, and you could really taste the fresh berries. A nice, simple treat.

The Welsh cakes were lovely, fresh and warm. I tried all three flavours, and they were all really nice. The staff were very friendly too. It's just a shame the seating is a bit limited, but it's a cosy spot.

Good local pub. Plenty of pool tables and the sports are always on. Dot poured me a cracking pint, one of the best I've had in ages. Just a solid, reliable spot for a quiet pint after work.

Loved the Queen Victoria theme here! The decor is so charming, really gives the place its own character. Spotted so many little details in the wallpaper and old portraits. Staff were lovely too.

The chicken burger here is a proper one. Freshly made, juicy patty, not that dry fast-food stuff. Really hit the spot.

Tried their Mexican night buffet. The spread was solid, tacos were fresh, and they kept things moving. Got a bit crowded later, but a decent change of pace.

Stumbled in late after an event. The English pub vibe with a Chinese twist was spot on. Staff were so kind, letting us stay past closing. The house red was a surprisingly good match for the late-night comfort food. They even checked we got off safely.

Been getting the mix kebab takeaway for ages, it's my go-to. Always hits the spot when you're hanging with mates.

Had the full English breakfast here. The eggs were perfectly cooked, and the bacon was nice and crisp. The tomatoes were fresh, which I really appreciate. A good, solid option if you're after a classic breakfast.

The portions here are huge for what you pay. Everything comes out fresh and hot, the flavours are really bold. Just a heads up, the tables are a bit close together, so it can feel a bit snug.

Been coming here for years, and you can tell they make their own gelato. The rum and raisin flavour is spot on, not too sweet. It's the real deal.

Handy stop on the A30/A303. Good parking. The coffee's always solid, but the real draw is the view from the window - just fields rolling by. Nice spot to break up a long drive.

Been coming here for a while. It's a proper family-run spot, you can feel it. The pizza is always spot on, just the right kind of crispy. Service is friendly without being over the top.

Lunch spot near the office. Their pizza is authentic, thin crust and good ingredients. Had a Peroni with it. Service was efficient, got the bill quickly. Solid for a business lunch.

The food is clearly made with care here. I appreciated that everything was prepared fresh after ordering. The flavours were lovely. My only note is that the seating is a bit too close together for a relaxed meal.

The brownie tray bake was huge, easily enough for four. Delivery got here in under 30 minutes. For the price, it's a solid choice when you need a chocolate fix.

Been coming here for years, always a reliable pint in the centre.

Decent pizza. Better than the chains. Crust was actually good, not that cardboard stuff. Toppings fresh. Price a bit higher but you get what you pay for.

A lovely little find. The Istanbul Special for two had a nice mix of meats and the chips were crispy. The booth seating was really comfortable.

The coffee was a standout. Really smooth and rich, not bitter at all. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed, with great music. The food looked amazing with all the bright colours, and it tasted just as good. A lovely spot.

Lovely, cosy spot. The staff are so friendly and smiley, which really makes a difference. Food is solid, just what you want from a local cafe. Portions are generous for the price. Found the chairs a bit hard for a long sit, but otherwise a very comfortable visit.
