Great spot to grab an Altbier. Bartender was super friendly and knew a lot about the local spirits. Ended up staying way longer than planned.

Duck was solid, meaty, decent portion. Veggies tasty but a bit pricey for what you get. Service fine, place clean. Nothing crazy, just a good meal. Probably won’t rush back, but no complaints either.

The spicy Thai basil chicken had a proper kick to it, that’s for sure. Service stayed attentive the whole time, even when the place got busier. Just wish the portion was a bit bigger for the price. But the heat alone would probably bring me back.

Been coming here for years when I need my sushi fix in Düsseldorf. Fish always tastes fresh, rice is properly seasoned. Even when it's packed at dinner time, the staff keeps their cool and you're not waiting forever. Had the mixed sashimi platter last time, decent portion for the price. Not mind-blowing, but you know exactly what you're getting.

The miso ramen special with pork belly hit the spot on a rainy evening. Broth had real depth without feeling heavy, noodles kept a good bite. I paired it with a yuzu highball — worked surprisingly well with the richness. Place was busy but service stayed efficient. Solid bowl, nothing fancy, just dependable.

Fresh and light lunch spot. Got the salad bowl, ingredients tasted properly fresh. Place was quiet enough to actually talk. Fine for a quick healthy bite, nothing fancy but does the job.

The tasting menu really shows off the Chinese-French fusion — each plate looked almost too pretty to eat. Flavors were precise, nothing felt overdone. Service stayed in the background, which I appreciated. Just wish the pacing had been a bit quicker between courses. Still, a solid evening.

The owner actually came by our table to ask how everything was. That personal touch made the difference. Pasta was solid, nothing fancy but done right.

The lamb chops were properly grilled, nice char on the outside, still juicy inside. Beef brochettes had good seasoning too. Place is tiny, so you'll probably wait if you come at a busy hour. I only cared about the meat and it delivered. Would come back for those chops alone.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Broth was thick and savory, exactly what I needed on a cold day. Gyoza were soft, pretty tasty too. Place is tiny, nothing fancy, but the food does the talking. Got there right before the rush, so no wait, but I could see the queue forming after. Solid spot if you're in the area.

I had a fantastic experience at this trattoria! The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was always fresh and delicious.

The bibimbap here is my usual order — that fried egg on top just does it. Banchan is simple but fine. Nothing fancy about the place, which I actually like. It feels honest. Just solid Korean food without the fuss. I keep coming back for that bowl.

The buffet spread is impressive, especially the raw section where you pick your own meat and veggies to be cooked fresh.

Second time here, still solid. Food's fresh and well-seasoned, service quick. Portion size is fair for the price. Only thing: the side salad dressing is a bit boring.

Solid green curry in the Altstadt, really fresh and fragrant. Chicken satay was tender too. Prices are a bit touristy but you get what you pay for. Good spot if you're craving Thai. 🍛

The appetizer platter was the best part—fresh and put together nicely. Portions felt a bit small for what you pay, but the food itself was solid.

Stopped by for a late lunch. Beer was cold, schnitzel solid and filling. Outdoor seating is the main draw—good people-watching spot. Service was efficient, no complaints. Prices fair for the portion. Not a place for a quiet meal, but that's not why you come here.

Solid cocktails after work — strong and well made. Staff was friendly too. Easy to get to by transit, which helps. Place wasn't packed, so we could actually talk.

The pastries were decent, but paying was a hassle. No credit cards, only EC or cash. Felt pretty outdated for being right in central Düsseldorf.

The breakfast platter was put together nicely. Fresh bread, scrambled eggs that were actually fluffy. Coffee came in a decent pot, strong enough to wake me up. I liked that they didn't overload it with greasy stuff. Just simple, fresh ingredients. Place was a bit busy but that's fine. I'd come back for that platter again.

Dropped by for a quick bite and grabbed some sweets to go. They're really good, no complaints there. Service was a bit all over the place though—one person was nice, the other seemed like they just wanted me gone. Ordering ahead seems like the smarter move if you're in a hurry.

Had the apple pie – really good, flaky crust. Pizzas are thin and tasty too. Prices fair for what you get. Cozy little spot, easy to sit for a while. Maybe not a destination place, but fine for a casual afternoon.

Been coming here for a while now. The pasta still tastes homemade, just like the first time. Menu's small but everything's solid. Price is a bit steep, but you get what you pay for.
