The weekend buffet here is solid — homemade cakes and ice cream are the highlight for sure. Place gets busy but the seating is comfortable enough to linger a bit. Just wish they had a few more savory options on the buffet, but for breakfast or brunch it does the job.

The iced strawberry matcha is genuinely one of the best I've had in the city. The strawberry sweetness cuts through the matcha bitterness just right. Staff were fine, place was okay, but honestly I'd come back just for that drink. Maybe slightly pricey for the size, but the flavor makes up for it.

The mapo tofu here was really solid — proper numbing spice, not just oily heat. Menu’s got a good range, even for vegetarians. Prices felt fair for what you get. Only thing: the tables are a bit close together, so it’s not the place for a quiet chat. But for a casual dinner, it works.

The burgers are always good and the buns are fresh. Staff were friendly too. Solid spot for a quick lunch if you're nearby.

The rustic-modern decor with those stained-glass windows really caught my eye. Food is simple but well done, nothing fancy. Staff were attentive without hovering. Prices run a bit high for what you get, but the atmosphere makes up for it. I'd say it's worth checking out if you're in the area.

Stopped by for a quick dinner and grabbed a dürüm. Fresh, filling, exactly what you want from a neighborhood spot. The veggie plate looked like a full meal too. Only thing—they go heavy on the sauce, so ask for it on the side if you're not into that. A cold beer would've paired nicely with the spice, but I settled for water. Fine by me.

Decent food, but the service dragged. One friendly waitress saved it. Nice spot for a glass of wine though.

The mango ice cream was really good—creamy, not too sweet. Toilet being clean is always a plus in my book. Location’s convenient too. Service was okay, nothing special, but I didn’t come for small talk. For what we paid, the portion was fair. I’d stop by again if I’m in the area and craving something cold.

Came in without a reservation on a busy morning, they still found me a table. Staff were friendly and quick. Breakfast did the job, nothing fancy but solid. Fair for the price.

Came here with a few friends on a weekday evening. Place is big, not too loud, which I liked. We ordered a couple of pizzas, took about half an hour to get them. Dough was okay, nothing crazy, but fine for the price. €12 each, fair enough. I'd come back if I'm in the area and don't want to cook.

The unagi don was grilled just right—soft and no fishy taste. Portion felt a bit small for the price though. Staff were nice enough.

Solid pancakes. Coffee was decent too. Place fills up fast, so we grabbed a table before the rush. Relaxed vibe, nothing fancy. Fine for a lazy brunch.

Stopped by for a few drinks with friends and honestly loved the vibe here. Cocktails were really well made, not too sweet, just right. Staff was super chill and didn’t rush us even when it got busier. Prices felt fair for the quality, especially for being right in the Altstadt. Only thing is it got a bit loud later, but we didn’t really mind. Would come back for sure 😊

Matcha and hojicha desserts are still the reason I keep coming back. Warabi mochi was good, though the case looked a bit empty late Saturday.

Lovely brunch spot with a really friendly owner who checked in on us. The banana bread and hot drinks hit the spot. Seating was comfortable too, which I always appreciate.

The soy garlic fried chicken was solid, big portion too. Old pub vibe is pretty cool, but you definitely need a reservation.

The coffee was really smooth and well-made. Breakfast options are solid, though service gets a bit chaotic when it's busy. Still a decent spot to grab a morning bite.

Solid curry noodle soup for the price. Right near the city center so it's easy to pop in. Staff didn't rush me. Good spot for a quick lunch.

The khachapuri was solid, and that chicken in garlic cream sauce hit the spot. Place gets busy fast, so better book a table. Service stayed friendly even when it got loud.

The lamb really stood out — we tried a few cuts and everything was tender. The sesame sauce pairing is classic for a reason. Fair prices for what you get.

Food was solid and the price felt fair for what you got. Staff spoke English and were helpful. Paying upfront was a bit odd, but it kept things moving.

The chili cheese burger with the fried egg on that brioche bun—messy as hell, but worth every napkin. Juicy, sloppy, proper flavor. I washed it down with a solid red, which cut through the grease nicely. One of the better burgers I've had in Düsseldorf so far.

The #18 fried chicken ramen bowl—that broth is properly hot, chicken stays crispy even after sitting in it. Noodles have good bite. Soft-boiled egg done right. Tiny place, walls covered in sticky notes, but I wasn't there for the decor. Just the ramen. That's what I came for.

The roast beef was really flavorful, and the filet was tender—just a bit mild for my taste. Fries were good too. Heads up: the kitchen closes earlier than you'd think, so get there early.

The mixed grill for two was the move. Big portions, proper lamb chops, not dry at all. Tzatziki tasted fresh, garlic came through nicely. Sides were classic, nothing fancy but solid. Meat was seasoned well, didn't need extra salt. Price matched the amount you get. Would order that again.

The owner really knows his meat — you can tell from the quality of what lands on your plate. He even came by our table for a quick chat, which felt genuine, not forced. Nice to see someone who actually cares about the product. Would stop by again if I'm in the area.

We went for dinner last week and honestly, the food was really good. I had the steak and it was cooked exactly how I asked. It's not cheap though, you definitely pay for the quality. Portions are decent, not huge, but you leave satisfied. Service was attentive without hovering. I'd go back for a special occasion, but probably not for a regular weeknight meal.

The rooftop view alone is worth coming here. Food was solid too - eggs came out exactly how I asked, which honestly doesn't happen that often. Service kept things moving without hovering. Only thing is it's a bit pricey for what you get, but the setting makes up for it.

Stopped by for a quick bite and ended up staying way longer than planned. The currywurst with crispy fries hit the spot, and the wine pairing was surprisingly solid. Place has this chill vibe that makes you want to hang around. Only downside: it got a bit crowded later, but that's probably a good sign.
